I'd like to hear @AccuTune Offroad 's response to these comments. Maybe we're missing something.

FWIW, I haven't noticed anything snarky, but I have only interacted with them a handful of times.

No doubt everyone has their own opinions. I’m a big baby snowflake keyboard warrior though and I’m sure Accu will chime in and call me names for it. Won’t change my opinion. Won’t change me voting with my dollars in the future. Once a vendor crosses that line they are dead to me, other shock vendors exist. Also yes they do give snarky monocle-worthy responses at times which I don’t always appreciate. I stopped sharing in the Fox thread because of that very reason. Not my idea of fun getting shouted down by an omnipotent vendor when I’m trying to share real-world experience of a product.

That's definitely fucked up, what TB did. Based on what I read so far, it sounds like a typical phony ass IG douchebag. Nothing like making yourself look like an asshole publicly, while trying to associate yourself with a community that generally has a ton of respect for the environment.

I would think any self-respecting vendors would be trying to wash their hands clean of any relationship with this type of individual.

Dang, happy Wednesday morning huh? Started with being tagged in this thread about custom valving, then helped clear up some info about digressive vs position sensitive shocks, and now torches are lit, pitch forks are gathered and heading to San Diego?

I really don’t think anything we say in response to those comments will make things better, so I don’t feel the need to add fuel to the torches.

I tagged you because I thought we might not be hearing the whole story. I have seen a lot of useful and helpful posts from your account, personally. But, I don't frequent the suspension forums as much as the others. I was hoping you could shed some light on the conversation regarding the graffiti situation.

I appreciate the learning earlier, I do, but you guys must admit that your guy's stance on affordable suspension is so zero tolerance it comes across like my picture I posted. I've seen several times people mention getting Fox 2.0s and you guys immediately called them a disposable low end shock not worth anyone's time. Not everyone can afford and or needs custom valved 2.5s with adjustors.

I haven't seen this personally, but I agree with you. There are a handful of people on these forums who come off like a broken record..

    "Buy once, cry once."

I hear it constantly. But, like you said, many of the people on these forums don't require anything beyond a quality set of 2" shocks.

OTOH, if this is generally in response to folks who are driving around with 1000# of constant weight trying to save a few bucks, I might tend to agree with it. It's like when LS guys will dump $10-20K into a vehicle to make it go fast, and then complain about spending a few hundred $$ on brake upgrades.

That’s where I’m at. We just don’t go crazy off-road and there’s not much for extreme trails here in WI. I’d love to upgrade my suspension at some point, with some lift, but I just don’t see the need to go crazy and buy stuff that’s far more capable than what I’d ever need. The company that addresses my more modest needs with gain me as a customer.

We have nothing to do with the graffiti situation. In fact, it wasn't until a month or 2 ago that I was even aware of this incident. (Fast forward to today) About 2 years ago Sam Webster reached out to us about doing a project with custom shocks for his Tacoma. His project was going to be showcased on his personal IG page and YouTube channel and additionally TacomaBeast would be posting videos about the build. We agreed and moved forward with the project. Unfortunately now for some, we are being scolded for doing this. Here is a link to the main video talking about shocks, and Sam's channel.

We are a company that is focused on high quality suspension and providing best possible ride quality with our custom tuning. I agree that can come off badly for some when we are suggesting a better product that provides a better outcome but with a higher price. However, we are also not trying to just sell you anything we have on the shelf. Often times this can bite us, being too picky or too focused on the customers experience/ride quality when we should just sell them what ever they want. I suppose we could be losing sales because of this. The beauty of this forum is to get input from a wide variety of people, we are one of those people, but with a lot more experience than most. So far, that has been very successful for those who have shocks from us. We get more people reaching out to us wishing they had gone with something better, than those who bought something high end and wished they went cheaper. At the end of the day, its your money and your choice. This forum has a wealth of info and opinions, and I hope that never stops growing. So with that, I appreciate all the feedback. We/I can only get better.

Yes and no. Trash event, trash action. Dude is a LOT more chill in person. And I'm fairly certain his balls have busted and rebusted over all of that mess.

Grain of salt and all of that lol

FWIW all of my interactions with you guys have been super top notch, hence me recommending you for anyone looking for anything higher than simple replacements.

I really appreciate you responding, it would have been a lot easier to peace out. I know words on a screen make it hard to decipher emotion and tone so I'm sure a fair amount of your responses came across different than intended. I also understand that you guys are in the business of selling quality stuff but I know there is a lot of money to be made from mall crawlers who just want a little more performance and better looks so some off the shelf stuff like 6112s or fox 2.0s would serve them well.
