Yup...not sure why it's hard for people to understand that Octane = Knock resistance. If it don't knock, it don't need more octane. Consumer engines are designed for 87, and typically won't work as designed on higher octane.

9084CEDE-91C0-40AC-8EE8-4FD3B54EB770.jpg Lol gotta love the 27.9 mpg after 13 miles. Hehehehe. I can coast down Afton Mountain on Interstate 64 in Virginia for about 21 miles and take a picture and have it say well into 38 plus mpg.

This is from my drive from Cheyenne to Billings. Not flat. Loaded with gear under Softopper. Filled up and manual figures were 21.3 also. I’ll take that all day long.

It's my daily commute, mostly flat with small hills on off ramps. I usually get 23-25 all highway of course.

Drive more than 34mi and post up. You're low on the totem poll. We've had 99mpg posted before.

one time i turned on the running app on my watch then got in my truck and drove 5 miles and all my friends thought i ran 5 miles in 6 minutes and 13 seconds. I was the most popular person at work that day.

    Yo
Your daily commute is 425 miles one way? And it’s from Cheyenne to Billings? Am I misunderstanding something? Because Cheyenne to Billings isn’t flat with small hills on the exit ramps.

I think you have me mixed up with the other guy. My commute is about 13 miles and I live in CA.

Hehehehe. No problem. I was going to say that whoever drives from Cheyenne to Billings and thinks it’s flat must walk Mt. Everest on a daily basis. Lol. No harm intended.

Just made a round trip NY to S Florida and back. 3rd time in my 2022 Off Road. 75/80 mph whenever possible and no traffic other than 15 miles thru DC and Baltimore area. Myself, 2 passengers and an uncovered loaded bed. 1262 miles each way and averaged 20.6 mpg this time. In Nov I was able to average almost 24 mpg on the same trip.
