Volk racing TE 37 on my tacoma

Hard to come by these days becuz too many people putting them on non real tes

 

eBay has the fake ones. I couldn’t find the neon yellow ones. It holds up pretty well I guess. Heard the real neon one fades after awhile. I guess it will hold me over til I find real ones if they ever make it again. Don’t like the new outlined designed ones.

 

I still need a bronze 16x8 -20 wheel. Sell me one, pretty please. Hehe

I did too thats why I got a 2nd years later.

Im actually in Toronto, Canada. The tires are E rated as my local shops couldn't source anything that wasn't E rated; I want to keep weight down but no luck.

Thanks for the kind words. I do have a thread on S2Ki though I've not had much time to play with the car the last couple of years with my son coming into the world.

 

Between the E and C rating for Toyo RT trail isn’t a huge amount of difference. Maybe 7 lbs at the most.

 

Weighed the wheel and tire together:


Bloody boat anchor, but I have no point of reference.

Wheel on its own was and incredible 16.4 lbs.

 

my original wheel and tire combo was 94lbs

 

So, the wife gave me permission to buy a set of 16" TE37's in hyper blue. I'm pretty sure she agreed to this, because she knows they're basically unobtainable... let's prove her wrong!

 

Just get some mag blue and convince @msgs350 to put his other set on.

 

There would be no convincing required... but I'm looking to be more obnoxious than that.

I'm also digging hyper green (teal)... so add that to the hunt.
