I like football but they are a bunch of greedy aholes. We could easily get rid of them and have a bunch of no names put on games just as exciting.

Screw the pros! Watch college, they play for the love of the game.

Everytime a sport goes on strike ticket prices go up so high, most people can't afford to go to the games. Then they bitch & moan, why aren't the fans going to the games.

Do they really have no regard for the fans' economic situations or have any clue about pricing their shit out of reach of enough people to put themselves out of business? or any regard to all the support industries going down too? When does self preservation kick in and they start soaking up some cuts in budget and pay that the rest of us are having to do?

I side with the owners.. I think the players are being completely ridiculous.. If the players make more money, the owners will be forced to pass it on to the fans. The price of going to a game is already outrageous.

I like college football more anyway. It sucks for all the employees at the stadiums though.

I'd be happy if the over paid crybabies never played again. It's ridiculous what they make these days, all pro sports for that matter. Football players want to be paid millions of dollars and then cry when someone hits them on the field. The heck with pro football.

Hope they cancel the whole season. Over paid sumbitches. Id be happy with 1 (one) of their paychecks. Let them be in the " average Joe's" shoes, then bitch about how much they r gonna make. College is better anyway.

I will bet any one that if those players got a flat rate of $200K per season they will still play for the teams that they are on. Why??? Cause where else they are going to make that money????? Last time I checked McD is paying like $8 per hour, walmart is at maybe $9 per hour. And ohhh wait, America is in some kind of economic trouble as well and the unemployment is at all time high. So I will stick with my story, $200K per season. I would play for that much money, would you??????

Well, that amount sounds good at first, but how long is a football player's career? I mean... late 30s is old for football player. Still though, the amount they make is ridiculous, even with that short of a career.

The players standpoint is that "They" are the product and without them, the NFL is nothing. I have news for all of the greedy players. Without "Us" the fans, they are nothing..

Hey, Job is a Job. They don't like it don't play. Get a degree and do something else. I work construction everyday. I climb buildings, rooftops, you name it. Is it dangerous??? I would like to think that but I am doing it cause I need the money. I might fall off the roof and be handicap to the rest of my life. Its a chance that I am taking. So those football players have other options.
