Hello there I looked through the forum and couldn't find anything to help me.
So I own a DCSB Tacoma a 2019 to be exact. I put a lift on my vehicle new coilovers and rear progressive add a leaf pack new upper control arms new tierods and lower ball joints the whole shabang. So I thought. Since doing my lift I've had nothing but horrible alignment issues. My alignment barely stays aligned for a month or two and I got to get it redone. I don't do any hard offroading or anything of the sort for the most part just driving to work and around town for the most part. I can't figure it out been tinkering with vehicles my whole life and I have no idea where I went wrong this is the first vehicle I've ever had do this. I need some help on possibilities.

Random stuff. Oh! and converted to non ADD 4x4.
Elaborate on your set up when it comes to lift, who is doing you alignment? Where you live?(regular shops will be shooting for factory specs) cheers!

One possibility is a lousy shop.

Are you using a big box store that sells alignment packages, or an independent shop?

The equipment has to be calibrated and the tech has to be both skilled and care about their work.

You 'can' get good work in a big box environment, but the odds are against it.

So much could be wrong. If you have an alignment print out someone might be able to discern where the movement is coming from. Why did you get new lower ball joints and tierods? OEM parts? What is your alignment setup? The more details the better whenever asking questions like this

They're moog tie rods and I got freedom off-road UCA so it's their custom ball joints and mood lower ball joints I got new ones because the boots were torn and they had play in them . I have vertx rough country coilovers which I also am not a fan of. But that shouldn't have any part in my alignment. I have local shops doing my alignment. but its a different shop everytime to try to find someone who can do it right but that isn't working

I'll be honest with you Cody, mission critical parts like the UBJ's I would stick with OEM. Tie rod ends too. I can't imagine the price being too much different, especially on the tie rod ends. These could possibly be the cause of your alignment issues if they are binding, which I have heard that the MOOG can do when new.

Someone mentioned the lower control arm cam tabs. Make sure yours aren't broken of flattened out. You should be able to see this easily. Mark the graduation lines on all 4 of your cams with some nail polish or one of those Milwaukee paint pens.

Depending on your desired height, the alignment spec's should be around the same as factory, so any shop worth their salt should be able to get the required angles. Maybe a little more caster for tire clearance but camber and toe should not change

At this point, really need to see an alignment sheet to "read" the alignment.

Lastly, a 2019 with play in those joints makes me question how hard your truck has been ridden. Other things can cause pulling issues too (if that's why you think the alignment is out)

One thing I've found shops don't always do is torque the alignment cam adjusters down to spec after getting the alignment done. I believe factory spec is at least 100 ft-lbs (you'll want to verify this). I've had alignments where I got two or three more turns on the bolts before hitting that torque. Make sure the truck is sitting at ride height before setting the torque. Like others have also said, please share your latest alignment sheet so we can see what alignment was set at.

Have another shop look at it. I posed a link for the eccentric cam tabs…..if they’re damaged or not torqued correctly your alignment might not stick where the tech left it. Seems to be common on these trucks.

A long bar torque wrench is a good tool to have. Those cam nuts are tough to get to the torque specs. I’m glad I was using my older bro’s place to install the 6112’s. Trying to do it with my Craftsman torque wrench would have been a pain.

Those are really good alignment numbers. It should drive really well like that. Doublecheck the torque on those cam adjusters.

What about the rear end? The -.31 toe and .55 toe on by read axle I feel like it wasn't put on right and my axle is off a bit

I would jack the rear up, pull the wheels off, and make sure everything is installed/seated correctly and torqued down properly. Do any of your other prior alignments show the rear axle being off?

That looks like an issue right there. Not sure if that is the main cause but the tab is definitely bent.

I had a similar issue recently. I would get the truck aligned and then a week or two later, the steering wheel would be off or the truck would pull one way or the other. Come to find out that at least 2 cam tabs were bent at all 4 points on the lower control arm mounts. I just had the total chaos cam tab gussets welded on and the poly performance taco tabs installed to lockout the alignment so I never have to worry about that happening ever again.
