Replaced the bad uniball today. Holy shit was it easier than doing a BJ. Did it with the LCA still on the truck.

gonna go to mt tabor in a couple weeks, roads should open up if they’re not already soon right? At least I thought they were open by may

 

In VT? June 1 - they're VERY strict about it, mud season destroys those roads if they open up early. If the sign says June 1, it's not before then. We have a campsite that doesn't open up until June 1.

Dorset was still blocked off to vehicle traffic as of last august when we went up to check it out.

Edit - even hiking trails they take seriously to not use during mud season on foot.

 

Good to know, there’s places before the dirt road starts so I think I’ll still head that way to have some time away from the greater Boston area lol

 

As long as it's dry, walking paths are fine into may. Just be ready if someone gives you a hard time. We've been up there in may a ton and it's been fine. NH and Maine are options too. And the Catskills - but to be honest I know next to nothing about the Catskills specifically.

 

I know some of y'all aren't a fan of the twang pop but oh well, I enjoy it (not exclusively, not like I don't like the non-poppy country too)

Last week my aunt apparently had tix to Parmalee that she couldn't make it to, she posted on facebook day of, wife had to work until 7:30 and we showed up for the last couple on Chase Wright's set. Was a great show - Chase is a great performer, I was sad to have missed most of his opener set. Parmalee in the middle did a ton of random covers that I was not a huge fan of, I was there to see them and their music. But hey, was still a great show and we were back maybe 5-6 deep from the stage.

Six Strings at Gilette, when my aunt said she had tix there I was like "Oh, sure, gonna be someone small" NOPE.

Some ollllllllllld man with 100 bikes and at least that many trophies can't ride anymore. Liquidating his hoard. Whole fucker weighs what the frame on my last bike did. Windsor Cliff 2750??? I don't know shit about bike brands but the (Al) frame is very well made and the hardware is all mid-tier Shimano. Great shape, new skins. Cost less than a tank of gas.

Used to ride daily when I lived in the city, pretty much exclusively frankenbikes made of dumpstered donors, and worth less than the tow chain I locked them up with. Feeling pretty bougie now.

Only 35K? I wouldn’t worry too much about your fluids yet. I’m at 168K and still haven’t changed my tcase or front diff fluid yet. Maybe I’ll finally do it this spring.

 

ah, the signs of spring time. Birds, flowers, and the annual "someone hit my car and didn't leave a note but they scraped the sliders and are definitely way worse off than me".

 

IDK about you but I get a good laugh every time.

 

A giggle and 2 seconds of rattle can bed liner. Yip. This is not the first time this has happened. Last year they actually hit my steel bumper which - DEFINITELY was worse for them.

Wish I had parking mode on my dash cam but it saps the battery.

 

Anyone got a baofeng base charger? I have an extended battery and a battery eliminator so not the end of the world but mine got smoky :| think I used the wrong power cord and it didn't like that.

 

Every time I see baofeng I think of you. Not because you have one, but it reminds me of bang ding ow

 

I have two, which is one more than I need.
