Still looks like a fun project to me!! I have to talk myself out of a Miata we don't need...

:jellydance: of the :jellydance:! We had some migrate through a few years back, after the Bastrop forest fire wiped out their hotel. I set out lots of plates of everything I looked up that they might like. Three days of enjoyment!!

One mistake and they were by us. (Not very often lol)

Alright, alright, alright! Version 2 of my control panel now runs! Did I know the new cell was wired reverse of my original? I did yesterday in checking. Did I know that polarity of various connectors from new and old was whatever they felt like? No, I could understand that some came as the mating pair, but wasn't even consistent! So, I was very careful. But ANOTHER thing I did not know was the actual output and battery connections from the little controller were reversed, on original vs. New!
But if you push something hard enough, it will fall over! Inch by inch, back and forth from garage to shed, it was all tended to.

    20230426_150114.jpg

I moved the little controller brick up, so I should see the LEDs better.

So, everything runs and measures correctly again. Tomorrow, I'll play with new hose. Yeah, I know, I could have just added a time clock to the solar kit, but where's the fun in that??

Our solar system was turned on today - about 1PM. It was a mostly cloudy day and it really clouded up and rained mid-afternoon. But, we got a nice burst of power early on and it was sweet to see the meter flow moving backwards!!

Well, just for fun. Version 2. HEB thin crust. I put olive oil on the bottom real light.
New sauce she got (still isn't what she wants).
Mozzarella and Asiago all over. Olive oil brush, crushed garlic, and more Asiago brushed on the crust. Prosciutto, mushrooms, and red onion on all.
Half pepperoni, salami, and green pepper.
    Half Italian sausage.
We're getting there! Simple and fun to make.

This time, I just set at 700*. Also, put some heavy foil under the stone to keep it clean.

    20230426_181718.jpg

And, pretty darn good in 8 minutes!

    20230426_181843.jpg

Funny that in the past couple days, Masterbuilt has sent me emails about buying their pizza oven insert, the internet knows, and shows me an Amazon version for $70, AND my LAST Pop Mech issue came today with a "build your own" - that costs more than the Amazon, and requires a metal brake! I might just get myself a little piece of stainless, and cut to fit the shelf riser above, and - there you have it!

They’d be by you if they weren’t running those reverse wings on each side. Cycle fenders rule!

I do not know a lot about racing but is 5 years for a body restoration normal? I do like the racing pics you, and others, post. Seems like all your hard work is worth the results.

Good morning. I have started getting up an hour earlier, it takes a while to get used to it. Also started to go to bed an hour and a half earlier at night. Cleaning out and rearranging the large shad today.

Looking for a bit of advice.

I moved last August. Bought a house at the end of the month. This month I got a bill for 2022 property taxes. I immediately paid for the period I owned the place. Got another bill the other day for the balance. That seems to me to be the same as taxing a resident of another state. When I sent the check I attached a letter explaining the situation. There was a phone number in the second letter, which I called. I lost my temper and used a profanity (abbreviated bs) and the gal at the other end hung up. I called back twice (possibly to apologize for offending her, tho that had not occurred to me) but she hung up immediately both times. I wrote a letter to the address in the second letter. I explained the situation and closed with a suggestion that they take me to court and let a judge decide whether I owe them more money.

As I see it, I have three alternatives, if they do not take my suggestion. 1) Pay the bill and forget it. That is unacceptable. 2) Pay the bill and sue the city for the balance. 3) Don't pay the bill and await the consequences, which are likely to include refusing trash pickup. Then sue for legal expenses and the cost of trash pickup and whatever.

    Any suggestions?
