Similar thing happened to one of my neighbors about 3 years back right after they moved in. Didn't lock his car, parked on the street as his driveway was full. Came out in the morning to find his handgun he'd stupidly left in the car was now missing. Needless to say our township police were pissed because now some low life is armed and even more dangerous.

but who really is the criminal in this case?

perhaps the idiot who leaves a gun in an un locked car should be held accountable

Was it stupid? With today's society, yes.....but fuck thieves. We need to start putting a few holes in them and maybe word will get around.

    "locked car"

I know several jeep (soft top) owners who have had more than one gun stolen out of their vehicle.

well expecting criminals to follow laws is pointless

assuming law abiding citizens can follow some simple precautions is just as pointless

anyways in others news, alpinestars helmets come with a pretty decent carry bag

If anything were to happen involving the gun, the owner would be held accountable no?

sucks to absentmindedly put yourself in that position.

I guess dirt guys get better carry bags lol.

None of my street helmets came with anything other than a drawstring cover/bag

for a $600+ helmet, a bag like this seems appropriate

ive purchased a handful of new helmets both dirt and street, never have i received anything more than a flimsy draw bag

it was a nice surprise, you would think they would have advertised the carry bag

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and we took my bike up north to stay at a little Airstream place. The Airstream was super nice and relaxing to stay at, and the roads to get there were a lot of fun. The Versys was amazing, as usual, with no hiccups at all.

The only downside to the trip was my Beeline navigation device being so confusing to follow. We got lost a few times and there were a few times I didnt feel that safe trying to stare at what it was trying to tell me vs keeping my eyes on the road. On the way home we passed through SF and there happens to be a Peak Design store, and I ended up buying a mount and case…

    Excited to try it out!

So I had some time while waiting for friends to get in a game so I messed with the stuff and one tst I will be emailing you… I put the turn signals on the front and they look good and are super bright but one broke…. Legit didn’t even tighten it that tight and it snapped so now it’s more or less loosely on but it works. The tail light thou is great I love the modes to change the brake light and the turn signal in the rear is decently bright (tbh I would have just left it red not amber so it would be brighter but eh)
