4th Gen Tacoma (2024+)

Don’t think anyone is complaining about the tailgate lip, there for improving mpgs. There are little fins all over the 3rd Gen to eek better aerodynamics out of brick.

Lip is moot for me since I run a topper on all my trucks. Might give topper manufacturers fits getting the hatch glass to seal though. Don’t think auto companies take in account the for part of the market that likes toppers, look at the texture and grooves on bed rail caps, pain in the neck to seal and make waterproof.

Ohhh…I know an insane amount of energy goes into developing vehicles. Sometimes they go a bit overboard though. Look at current truck design. Trying way too hard. Need to dial it back a notch or six.

I have a very reliable source who told me on 4/4 that the reveal would be more than a month less than two months away. Another reliable source gave me the same information with the second week in May.

 

Is it a Tuesday? Someone said the 15th but who knows

 

They didn’t give me an exact date out of security of their job, non-disclosure and all that jazz but they gave me a pretty close time span so ya it could be the 15th

This and the first Gen are a toss-up in my mind for the pinnacle of Toyota’s truck design language.
