I was wondering why my guage is showing incorrectly? Can some one identify what I did wrong? Also is there a pid for oil temp?

I have the above formula working but the temperatures seem to be too cool. Never gets up about 110F yet when I short the #4 and 13 pins the trans temp light comes on indicating the trans temp is at operating temp (meaning 143).

IS there a definitive set of PID for a 2011 V6 auto?

I'm not sure, I believe there may be a different pid for the different year models. The temperature reading I get from the torque app matches the reading I get from my scan tool. Send a picture of the code you inputed. I made a simple mistake in mine that could be causing an indifference.

I don’t remember being able to short any pins and have it have the trans light come on at normal operating temp. The only time it comes on is at the appropriate temperature to check the fluid. Which is 95-110 degrees or so.

I’ll see what I can find later.

OH, maybe im wrong... is the check oil level at 110F? (IE. the temperature which identifies that your tranny is warm enough to open the full plug and let the oil drip out?) I thought it was 143? or maybe normal operating is 143 and the check temp is 110?

OK so I changed my oil and filter the old fashion way with using the paper clip to short pins 4 and 13.
I then hooked up the torque pro and the temperatures were low ... 98F... so obviously not the correct formula for a 2011. I also cant find it on the torque pro forum.

After all the work I did with torque pro, I decided it wasnt worth more hassle, so I bought OBD Fusion and this app worked well, accurate temps from what I see.
