Remedy3D cubby drawer!

 

This is the best Tacoma world mod ever. Just perfect. Makes me wish I had a fob to hang.

 

I obtained one of those. I like it!
Not that I had a problem with items falling out of the cubby in normal operations, but I imagine they could on rough track. The drawer eliminates any possibility of that now.

Stick the backing that comes with it to double sided sticky tape. Works better.

 

like the trd emblem for the front grille. Never could find one with the attachment bolts
So bought one anyway and use the adhesive tape on the back to attach to the grille
Notice it was fall off sooooooo zip ties it is too bad I couldn't find them in red.

 

Start keeping them and you could sell them hell I would buy one LOL

 

also making paracord grab handles on my prinsu as inspired by @themcnertney

 

Put a toy tire from kids John Deere tractor toy on volume knob. Much better for fumbly fingers. Yes, I use steering wheel controls too.

 

Next you need to make hats, helmets, and hair for your knob.

 

did i mention it glows in the dark too? lol no way could i be this skilled to make this. got it and the shifter-chrome-piece-cover thing that lets you more aesthetically put on aftermarket knobs, from etsy!

 

Love this. Can you link the piece you put over the boot that says "TRD on it?" I couldn't seem to find it

not exactly proud of this, but this has annoyed me for almost 5 years.
posting in case it annoys someone else.

most of the dash control knobs have several gray indicators (for style) and only one is the real one.
at night, no problem - the real one lights up, but during the day, in the relatively dark nether regions of the dash, it is hard to tell the position
of the real indicator.
So, i took a permanent black marker and colored in the meaningless ones.
Since the plastic is glossy, a simple pencil eraser, with some rubbing, easily fixes any accidental mismarking.
From the driver and passenger seats, it is now easy to see the position of the true indicator at a glance.

 

Should get a pair of red zip ties to color match it or spray paint. =p

note: this just snaps over the old chrome piece, and since it doesn’t have the knob to keep the boot taught (which honestly isn’t even a big deal for me) it kinda allows the boot to ‘float’ per-say, kinda like a spring

thanks for the offer but i think i am good.
the last time i used truck was a couple days ago. it was cold and rainy and had i defroster on to keep windshield clear.
today was bright sun and 70's and had to adjust controls.
could not see the indicators clearly and i'd had it. in the past, i have flipped on the lights in the garage to see them.
shouldn't have to do that. really a dumb design. looks like this will work.
