I rented a 12ton shop press to press out the wrist pins on 351w pistons and then press in the new ones with the brand new shiny pistons lmao. I’m at HF right now getting my deposit back

In other news. New brakes will be here for the Tundra today. Still need to order new shoes for the Taco too. Cant decide what to get tho. Its all just so fucking expensive and the 4runner will need new ones here shortly aswell.

 

Anyone have a recommendation for a quality AC place that can recharge the AC system on my 2021 Tacoma?

I have an appointment next week at a local dealership, but their whole "schedule an appointment, but that doesn't mean your vehicle will get seen anywhere near that time, or even that day" is incredibly annoying to me.

I used All Start Electric and AC over here by me to have the whole AC system replaced in the Mini truck last year.

Just rotors and pads for the tundra. I warped them a month or two ago. I didnt want to do the wilwood kit on the tundra. I will be doing the wilwood kit and big brake upgrade to the runner tho.

 

And in other news it looks like I am going to finally get to sneak out into the woods for a night this weekend. Pretty excited for the first night out this season up here.

Question: Two hoses come off the front diff, looks like a 3/8" for the breather and a 1/4".. what does the 1/4" line hook too?? I cant figure this out and thought it maybe a vacuum line?? I tend to get a gear oil smell in the cab and cant figure out why.(hence though of vacuum). I'm under the truck enough to spot a leak and that's not the case..

 

I dont remember off the top of my head but can look later tonight and tell you.

 

Josh and I will be under my truck later this evening. Figure its worth a question and to chat about it beforehand. Slow shop day and i'm thinking of all the Taco stuff I need to figure out. Always the little things that get set on the bk burner.

 

Oh you guys will be able to figure it out no problem if youre already going to be under it and he will have is truck there too. What all are you guys going to be doing?
