@gwynn1975, truck looks great! Just got my Hefty Fabworks sliders today, and will be installing them on my 23 OR soon. Anything to watch out for, or it's just other sliders (in terms of install)?

I called them and they had a few left! So I’m all good thanks for the recommendation. Anyone else who likes to setup should give them a shout while inventory lasts. Seems like it could be cool for a lot of different applications.

Did you need to deflate the fifth wheel to fit underneath?

No. The 285 fits fine underneath with the horns beat down a little bit and the hoist relocation mod. Actually needed to check it's psi since it's been a while and set it to 37.

Cleaned and painted the gashes and scrapes in my sliders from my outing last week.

I got them powder-coated when new but the flat black spray paint/primer matches pretty well. This isn't the first time I've had to do this.
    Slider Paint 2.jpg

I filed the rough spots down, used some emery paper to smooth them out a little more then cleaned the damaged areas with de-natured alcohol and then applied two coats of the spray paint.

Lucky its in the mid-80's here today in Phoenix so the paint dried pretty quickly between coats. Also don't really have to worry about agressive rust since it is so dry here and we don't have winter salt on the roads here in the desert.

Update: Heavy 32lbs method wheels sent back. Ordered 5 very rare limited edition 17x9 wheels with -38 offset. Something very, very limited edition. :spy::spy::spy::spy: Pics when they arrive. Should hopefully clear customs in week and ship shortly after. These are going to be wild with MGM. :rasta:

Those mats looks a lot easier to clean compared to the OEM mats. Nice!
