Hello! New member here and I need your help.

Hello Tacoma lovers!
I had heard alot about this group and how helpful and knowledgeable you guys can be. I tried using the search bar and can't find what I'm looking for. I have a 2022 lunar rock taco trd OR, everything is stock. I have a very noob question that can give me a peace of mind. I feel like a wheel well liner might be missing possibly or something else on my front driver side wheel well. May some please help me confirm that this isn't the case please?

Front Driver side


Front driver side has something that looks like something suppose to be their? If not what is that for and why doesn't the passenger side have it?


Just a little confused since it doesn't match the passenger side which has this.


Any answers would be appreciated!

Nobody knows for sure, but the bracket on the driver's side has been there since 2005. Here's a 2014 thread asking about it: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bracket-in-left-front-fender-well.351682/#post-9436636 Find any 2nd or 3rd gen Tacoma in a parking lot and take a look. Try not to appear like a catalytic converter thief lol.

Passenger side has weld nuts with threaded holes for the engine air filter box.
