One of these days I'll probably pick up a midland setup and you can have mine at that point

Cool! If I ever make it up there. I'll probably forget.
    Awesome.

I want to do a dash mount too but I do ham radio stuff with it too so it's actually useful for me. I did the marathon comms this year with it. Works a treat. No need for beefier stuff for that. But I do want to do a dash mount radio maybe this year (I'd do dual band because technically I can but might just do a GMRS)

I've got a pair of Pofung branded chargers for my Baofeng radios. The output on the wall wart is 10V 0.5A if that's what you're after.

Added Ameriglo Spartan night sights to my S&W Shield. Excellent sights. Here's the first 16 rounds, standing, 25 feet. 4F87B70D-8ECB-459E-803F-1C271C52F680.jpg

It helps to have consistent ammo. This target was shot with Norma brand, 124 grain, 9mm. Norma is a Swedish company and this ammo was produced in their Swiss factory. Outstanding ammo.

I bought a case of it a couple of years ago. I haven’t seen any for sale since then.IMG_0483.jpg

I doubt this was anyone on here, but if it was, my apologies.

I was driving to work today and there was a bunch of road rage that happened in front of me so I was clicked into autopilot to avoid any BS coming to me. I noticed a black 3G with a Pro grille behind me on Route 18 in Weymouth that was doing a bit of weaving in traffic to catch up with me (it was a solid 10-12 cars behind me when it caught my attention). We got up to a light and the driver appeared to be gesticulating wildly at me but I was feeling particularly anti-social today so I just ignored them. I don't know if I somehow inadvertently wronged them and didn't realize it or they were interested in my truck. I just kept driving, their lane was slow so they weaved all over 18 to catch up to me again and another set of lights they were on my right side and were waving again. It was 6:30 AM, I wasn't feeling it.

So apologies if this was someone trying to say hello, having just witnessed a bunch of road rage I was in "everyone is stabby, don't make eye contact" mode.

I use 124 or 147 gr because my older S&W semi autos shoot low with 115gr. I use whatever i can find for range fodder because the guns shoot to point of aim with the heavier ammunition and don't care about brand. S&B, Federal, Maxxtech, Blazer Brass, doesn't matter.

I shot this qualification target for a SC CCW permit about two years ago. Ranges were from 3-45' feet which is what is required. S&W 6946 DAO.

Anybody have a use for some Stabilizer Jack's? Believe they're rated for 2500lbs. Replaced all of them on the camper with 9k lb ones. One of them is pretty stiff but the other 3 still work. If not, into the recycle they go.

Nice shooting. I loathe DAO, but clearly you can tolerate it.

I have the same issue feeding my Beretta on the range but I've learned that it's on the dots with 124 and 115 is at the top of the front sight, so I shoot with the dots for training (knowing that the groups will be X off at Y yards on the paper) and use the top of the post for hotdogging with cheap ammo.

I also typically use whatever brand ammo I can get my hands on. I also like to have a supply of better quality ammo to use for checking sight adjustment etc. The Norma ammo came in handy to check the new night sights.

Getting a bit of rust on my 1.5 year old sliders. I want to touch it up.

Yes, that paint works well on rusty stuff, I have used numerous cans of that rust reformer paint. My uncle also used that paint when he bought his first Jeep (after he needle-scaled and wire wheeled the frame) and even without a top coat of other paint, there was almost no rust bubbling through after a couple of years of driving in all conditions.

I’ve been using that on my frame and any other rusty parts I see. It seems to work OK.

I'll be number two interested. @RockfishTaco

I can take them when he comes and gets the skid today and get them to Chase if he's taking them. Assuming he didn't already get the skid.
