0884-20? That came out almost a decade ago, I'm surprised they are still selling it, my former boss had one and it barely blew dry leaves out the parking lot.

 

I have a borrowed yellow one that is awesome for paint prep. Sounds like I need to read up on this before getting the red one. Any preference between yellow vs red?

 

Its great for starting charcoal lol. Yea its small but comes in handy for certain situations . I actually use it when smoking meat on my WSM smoker . When temp needs a boost blow lightly into vent .
Also saw on you tube high low switch , on high it doesnt reach full throw . About and 1/8 in from full .I ended up just leaving it at full throw . Blows stronger . Just regulate power with switch .

That's the one. I'll primarily be using it for blowing off tools before loading back into my truck and sawdust on walkways, decks, etc. I have the bigger M18 blower and that's a beast. I figured this would be a little smaller and not quite as powerful and easier to transport. It's tiny and has significantly less power.

 

No experience with that Dewalt.

Alright... I had to go lawn mower shopping the other day for a push mower. Didn't end up getting one because I'm not paying $400 for a 120cc basic bitch mower that doesn't even have a bag. But in my perusal of the usual shopping suspects, I came across this and nearly had to change my shorts.

 

Maybe it's worth it to you for the other tools and the ratchet isn't important to you, but I wouldn't want non-Fuel versions of the ratchets. My ratchet is one of my most used tools, feel like I can't live without it now, so I definitely wouldn't want to bother with the non-Fuel version.

 

The HO batteries are a bulk of the cost.

 

I hardly use a ratchet. Maybe 2 minutes a month. Getting both the install tool and ratchet for $179 I had to go for it. I of course used the install tool a bunch already still trying to find its place vs the surge impact. For not it’s a great grab for a drill or 90*.

That being said, both deals I listed this morning are sold out.

 

Yeah, sounds like we're exact opposites. I use my ratchet constantly but would have zero use for the install tool.
