Nice E-Series! U-Joint Off Road did a similar build. Iceland on the bikes has been on the bucket list.

Here is my best friend FJ70 - 4.5 Inline 6. That thing has lots of torque low end. Wish we would get those here or some kind of bare bone Toyota Land Cruiser

Very nice! It is a shame we can’t get them here…well, we can just takes lots time or lots of money, sometimes both. Either have one built, or import one yourself, problem is they are going to be 25+ years old, and will require a bunch of fiddling with. Don’t know about you, but I am tired of working on stuff.

Was against all the tech, after owning my 3G for 1.5 years putting 30K miles on, kinda liking it, it is especially apparent when I jump back into the 1G, expect some features and they aren’t there.

Used to say if I ever made it big, would have FJ Company build me one, dunno seems like an awful lot of money to look cool. That buys an awful lot of fuel for the Tacoma.

The reason you don’t see a Hilux in North America is because of regulations made in Washington, not because Toyota refused to bring them here.

GM and Ram had/has small diesels.

Toyota does have DPF system to comply with US regulations the 1GD-FTV.

If Toyota can upfit the LC70 to pass ANCAP safety ratings, they could have done it to the HiLux, and did. US safety regs aren’t that much different.

They are the largest vehicle manufacturer in the world after-all.

So think it is more about Toyota knows the American market, we are into show boating not actually using them as trucks…and a watered down chick truck would do just fine. :D

Looks like the 3rd gen head unit claimed another one boys. Hoping they're getting the bugs worked out in the 4th gen.

That is like blaming a spoons for making people fat.

Dated a woman who used to eat a bowl of cereal with milk while driving, first time I saw her do it…said what in the hell are you doing!? She was always getting into fender benders. And now I know why.

annnnd we wonder why manufacturers now put in auto braking and blind spot monitors. Majority of people are shitty drivers and don’t like to pay attention. Or pulling over to stop to fiddle with the head unit.

People actually eat bowls of cereal while driving? I thought that was just a gag they made up on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

Oh this was just tongue in cheek. I really don't think this is toyota's fault. Just a hilarious unfortunate accident.

I get it! 5th grade math is hard. FYI: it is NOT close enough. 25k/250k is 4% which is NOT close to 0.5%, it is close 5%. It's all good though, HUGGGZZZ! <3
