what about the awesome truck camper?!?!

the 5th wheel is my Tacoma Mike clone neighbor's. he and his wife retired this winter so they'll be using it a lot more this summer. and it is pretty cool. he's got it all set up with a big screen TV and surround sound, huge solar package that he can run everything off of.
its actually pretty nice since most truck campers the steps are an afterthought. it all folds up when on the go. adds a couple hundred pounds to the whole package but i like it.

I don't see many besides something they've cobbled up out of pallets and an old cut up aluminum ladder. Occasionally fold down steps or the ones that slide out from under the bed or bumper...but usually cobbled up junk.

Mustard????? On a tato???? Not sure I can hang out with you peeps any more.

On the 4/10, I'm in IT and just got converted to exempt status. Freed me from on-call requirements, although I'm always SUPPOSED to answer the call from my staff. Doesn't mean I have to be within 45 minutes of work or sober though.

Right now, on the closed Friday we get many IT projects completed. Need to replace all the phone switches on a building? Friday. Bounce production servers? Friday. IF we go 4/10 that just means ANOTHER Friday I'm potentially there for free, even though the bossmang SAYS I can unofficially comp time, if I do it in the same pay period, which never happens. . . I was there this morning at 6:30 to hook up a new server and download some ISO files so a contractor can install hypers.

I like gaskets w/ a healthy dab of goo in the corners. I will use my Toyota FIPG since I have a fresh-ish tube on hand.

The dizzy looks new-ish and I can see the seal, it looks ok. The OP sender unit is on the wrong side of the block to puke the oil down on the passenger side of the bell housing unless it's squirting. It can start it up and do a visual check to rule it out. When I popped off the pass side VC, it had a fairly new rubber gasket. I checked the VC for flatness, it was in good condition. Someone has been in there before, I don't even want to guess what they did if they were the same ones that made the hack job of the old exhaust system. The rocker arm valley was extremely clean, I wonder if this is even the original engine. I'd guess not, but that's only a guess. No way to know fer sure.
The AIR injection plumbing is also is shambles, I will just do a full delete of the system.
The bright shiny thing in the sky came out! An ancient proverb comes to mind- "Get while the gettin' is good!"

This last season was as close to 50/50 with ketchup and mustard usage at it gets. I went through 2 gallons of each and finished with a 12 oz bottle of each.

Don’t care, it’s better than home! And figured I’d play it safe since we still have so much snow everywhere

I love this debate Martin. there is a local famous dinner/dive called Jess’es here. hot dogs were the specialty, the dogs were piled up in the window beside the flat top,we called them gut grenades. a Jessy dog with everything was mustard, chili, and onions. he has passed but his grandson opened a place and he has the secret Greek Chili recipe his grandad used. there is no ketchup, chili, and onions on the menu. LOL.:thumbsup:GO TEAM MUSTARD

That's pretty clever the way that the awing extends out from the rear of the camper. Have a blast!

I was at Home Depot recently returning an item I didn't use or need (As usual). There was a young couple that also came to the return section, they had a whole bunch of scrap-short pieces of moulding they were trying to return for refund or credit. Seems like the sales person that helped them originally at the time of purchase told them they could return the "unused" pieces of moulding they didn't need from the bundle they purchased.

It does make for a nice little refuge from the rain and sun. I don’t put it out often, especially if it’s windy, but it needed to get aired out like everything else.
