The mishimoto one is going to be red instead of black this time. Why not. A little Rice under the hood won't hurt anything (it also may have cheaper than black)

Two small mods today. Front bed rail and Wheeler's front super bumps. Forgot how much I hate changing out the front bumps lol. Also laid down with relatively good clothes on and told myself I was just going to hit a couple rusty spots before they get real bad. Ended up using a whole can of rust spray and trashing my clothes and also having to shower to get the shit off my forehead The things we do for these trucks

Installed some rice. Only hear it under complete wide open throttle. The sound makes me laugh lol. Did have to cut about 1/2" off so it would fit. Kinda lame for something that's made for 1 specific vehicle and engine.


Also installed this piece of trash. I wouldn't have wasted my time had I known it took so much effort to get the gas cap in. I'm going to leave it installed but I'm still going to just dangle off the retaining prongs or whatever they're called

 

Taking another risk per the theme of the build. Ordered these which have no reviews and have almost no evidence of ever being on a Tacoma. In all of Google like 3 iffy pictures and 1.5 seconds of a video lol

Ride quality is so much better than stock in literally every way. Stage 1 gave me the perfect amount of lift with my topper on. All of that being said, they are squeaking already so that's something to keep in mind. If I get sick of the creaking I'm told @memario1214 has a fix for that. I bought them for a too good to be believed price but they took PayPal so I gambled and they showed up lol. The aforementioned Mr.Memario will sell them to you for a good price though.
