How do you like this mod and how did you bolt it to the floor? I'm thinking of adding these packout brackets (from etsy) to the bed. This is just a mockup, but the ribs and rails don't line up well, so I'm thinking of mounting to a bed mat.

Said goodbye! Short lived time with the 22’, but I got an amazing deal I couldn’t pass up on a 23’ TRD Pro 4runner and I’m tickled. Always wanted this truck. Drove home in the dark so only dealer photo.

You’re gonna love it! They drive so nice and the added room over the Tacoma is nice.

I never had a second gen Tacoma, but I really enjoy the way the 4.0 5speed drives, especially after owning a few 3rd gens. The seats are also noticeably better. I’m looking forward to getting it out on the road.

So I also have a mount from etsy, the red part. I had originally had it attached to the MOLLE panel i have using some Rivnuts wit some rubber feet to contact the bed floor. In that orientation, the lid on the Packout i picked would hit my cover before i opened it all the way. Its now rotated 90*. I havent nailed down the whole thing yet. Ill post more pics for sure when its done.

Everyone raves about the Desert Does It Seat Jackers so I installed a set in my new Tacoma. The installation was very easy and the seat jackers themselves seem well made. I'm not sure if I like them or not but I'm going to give it a few days to decide. The extra leg support is nice, but the seat feels awkwardly high now.

I felt the same after I installed seat jackers. After a week I realized that I enjoyed sitting higher.

    Enough for now
I put the fronts in and all of the pucks in the back and realized I was tipped forward. I adjusted it to the big and middle puck in the rear only and it was great. Immediately bought a set for the passenger side

I used the smallest shims on the rear of the drivers seat. Seemed like the best combo. :notsure:

They are going to look great. I had a set in the cart when they released and didn't pull the trigger. I have been holding out for a set of machined silver, but those teals almost got me.

Right after you do that, take your truck to Discount Tire and get protection on all four tires for about $60 and you’ll pay nothing for repairs on them in the future and a fraction of the cost for a new tire if you need one. I’ve saved a ton with them over the years. A lot of people don’t know they will allow you to buy coverage on tires you didn’t buy from them.

New York State can ticket for tint on front and windshield. It depends on what local Leo write tickets for

cops don't like it in PA because you have to put state inspection/emissions stickers on the front lower left of the windshield.
