I have a 2012Tacoma Baja edidition with the bead locked rims I just had some new tires put on cooper AT3's I asked the guy what tire pressure did he use he told me the door sticker one which says 48 pounds its a over lay sticker that was put on after. thatToyota sent the OG owner a while back now is it
right to have them that inflated just seems strange

IIRC, the Baja Edition came with LT tires.
If you run less than 46-48 psi, the TPMS light may come on.

If you put on different type, such as P rated, you will need to adjust accordingly.
You can reset the TPMS set pressure. It’s in the owners manual.

The maximum cold inflation pressure is on the tire itself.
If the pressures in the tire now is below the listed max cold pressure, you should be fine.
I can not say what the best pressure to run would be, that depends on the load range the tire is.
And I don’t know offhand what load ranges are available for the the Cooper AT3 tires.

If you tell us the load range and ply, we might be able to further help.
All this is on the tire sidewall as well.

That seems like way too much PSI. The minute you get rid of OE tires your proper PSI changes. If you have typical C rated tires 35 is a good starting point but you should google " tire chalk test " that is really the easiest DIY method to find the right PSI for your truck and your tires.

I run 35 front 30 rear, your tire light won’t come on. Our trucks are so light in the back end that 48 lbs will make it ride terrible, like a rock.
Unless your towing a trailer or have 600lbs in the bed, then up the air pressure.

Std or P rated aren’t load C tires, they are like 2ply.
C are LT tires 6 ply rated for loads, towing.

I don’t man. This thread says other wise.
See post #17. The Baja comes set at 46 psi.
Unless you reset the learned psi, the light will come on.
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/baja-tx-tire-pressure.291846/

They made the cooper tires OP has in different load ranges.
    We still can’t really “help”.

On my 1st gen, I'm at 25F and 24R on HOT pressures on C load KO2. Verified with the chalk test when I first installed them. I'm about 25k miles in and the wear is flat across the face and very even.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
it depends how you use the Truck.

When i worked the truck was loaded heavy and towed another 2000 pounds often.

I ran 60 psi in the rear and 40 psi in the front through a few sets of tires.

The higher the pressure = better gas mileage but typically horrible tire wear.
I would start at 38 on pressure and check the tire wear... or do a chalk test as mentioned in previous posts.

Went to tire rack and if you have the size stated only come in SL so here are the specs so max 44psi and I would run at 35 all around then watch tread wear.
