    Have a great Saturday everyone.

Kids are taking me to breakfast for my birthday last week then I’m going to watch my granddaughter play soccer. At 5 years old and purple uniforms, they look like a bunch of grapes running after a ball.

    Hands down my favorite.
Small out of the way local brewery in Bavaria that I visited several times. Not available here.
Have to drink it within a couple of weeks since it has no preservatives.

I used to be a beer drinker. I quit for personal reasons and never went back to it. I haven't drank any alcohol in 30 years. I do like my coffee and tea, and a good root beer once in awhile.

My buddy Clarence up on Rock Creek (outside Buffalo, Wyo) tells me that gunshots will scatter 'em (the turkeys) and they won't come back into the yard. But if you just slowly walk out amoungst them and off one with a 9 iron - the rest will be back grazing in no time.......... However this year, the snow is still knee deep.

kinda the same with other species of animals and birds. They aren’t as stupid as we think. Pigeons will roost forever in large numbers until there’s a killing with blood. Then they move on. We had turkeys everywhere, in yards, on roofs, in the street. A neighbor shot one, the whole flock left and never came back.

I had the same feelings, it is normal, I know I haven't saved as much as we should have, but we have SSI, both of us, I have a small pension just under 700, and my bride has a ok state government pension. I have a a
Small part time job I call beer money, but I only have maybe 3 or 4 a month. I'm just healing up from rotator cuff surgery and when that is done I can do a window or door replacement and earn more in a day than I can in 2 weeks at my part time job if I need the money. You will be fine. I have a friend that does consultating on the side after he retired from an electronics and gps positioning job . He earned a little over 30. PHR now he gets $119. PHR plus he adds food and lodging expenses. He worked for a city public works department.

X3 Happy Birthday @Devious6 Have a sip for me.

Good morning. Pork shoulder is on the smoker at 6:30 this morning. Hoping to reach internal temp by 2 or 3 PM then wrap it up and into as insulated cooler for 2 hours. Supposed to rain today so the umbrella is up over the smoker.
