I really do wish those side doors were longer.
Has me rethinking, RLD and Alucab vs the RSI....

 

Gen 3 Caps finally are starting to show up. Still no new latches but new packaging ,side windows, and rubber seal. I will post an installed pic when the customer picks it up. Starting to ship out some to customers as well.

 

Oh neat! Like the new side hatch design.

 

Really? I'm not wild about the vertical latches. I think the horizontal version fits the style of the truck better and eats up less window space.

I'll reserve my final opinion for the assembled version.

 

That window looks huge. My dogs would definitely jump out of that.

I like the smartcap decal inside the glass. Subtle but visible.

 

Been waiting on mine for quite a while now, like many others. This is the first that I’m hearing about a redesign. Not thrilled about it. I’ll be a tad bit pissed if I end up canceling my order and going with an option that I could have had 6 months ago.

Yes, they work great in person, as does the solid glass design.

 

Agreed, looking forward to seeing one of the new caps mounted. I was on the fence and planned to order windoors one day for my dogs. Might just DIY my Evoa.

 

Minor update

 

I am hopeful but not confident in any release estimate they give. When they start showing pictures is when they will be close.
