So I’m going to go from 33s to 35s. I’m extremely limited as to where I can put the spare tire when it becomes a 35 inch. Right now the 33 inch spare tire is where the factory one goes because it fits there. I’m thinking the only place I have is on the bumper but I really don’t want to eliminate the back up camera. What are you guys doing? I’d love to see pictures and hear your ideas. Thanks. Here’s what my current truck setup looks like.

I thought you could fit a 35 under the bed? Just depends on the 35, ha. I opted for high clearance and a rear swingout. I left the OEM backup cam in place and just added another to the swing arm. On my 19, there is a plug under the passemger side of the bumper, unplug the OEM, then plug in my extra cam. If I take the swing arm off, I can plug the OEM back in place.

That’s really bad ass. I like it. Isn’t that the one that’s like $3500 that you can’t even get?

Brother, you are freaking awesome. Now I’ll forgive you for being a Chiefs fan and drinking and Anheuser-Busch product. :)

In all seriousness, thank you. I think I’m going to go with that. Of course I just noticed it’s on back order. Lol. What a freaking world.

Been a Cheifs fan for 20+ years, won't ever change, haha. And that is a PBR. Whenever I go camping I usually crave cheap beer, ha, so PBR or Coors Light is the go to. Basically beer flavored water.

Not sure what their lead times are now. When I got mine, it was something like 7 months or so. I love them though. Best high clearance option in my opinion. Plus I like supporting small businesses. I think they are on the forums too.

I'm looking for a way to mount spare as well. Currently just strap it in the bed. Thinking of fabbing a bed rack for the tire as well as my trail tools

Everybody I looked at for these high-end rear bumpers is at least 14+ weeks out. What a joke. It took less time for us to invade the continent of Europe, and end the second world war. Maybe these guys should start looking for help if they’re that far backed up? I’m suddenly feeling guilty for getting pissed off at my factory for falling a week behind on my company’s products. I know we would go out of business with these type of the times for product. Anyway, your help has been much appreciated. Thank you.

Patience is required when building a truck well. High-end parts are built to order and take time to do right. Do you want to throw random parts on your rig or get what you really want?

It sucks but I recommend enjoying your truck more in it's current state and not worrying about lead times. Either you wait or you don't. I wouldn't compromise on what you really want because you're impatient.

I completely 100% agree with you. However, I most definitely am not paying upfront in full for a four month leadtime. I’ll gladly give $100 nonrefundable deposit but I have no idea what’s going to be happening four months from now.

That's how my purchase went. I put down a deposit at first and then the remainder when it was getting built.

How long did it take them to build it and you receive it once you paid in full?

So about 5 months total for me. Gave me plenty of time to research the install and to find a powder coater too.

So where is your trailer hitch? And also do you have to unplug that back up camera that you have circled when you open the bumper? Do you have any pictures of the bumper being opened?

Rig'd Ultraswing or Trailswing by Dirtcom and buy the optional rear camera relocation kit.
