    Its unfortunately normal. I would consider getting the OTT tune as it makes a big difference in the shift points and makes a good truck great. Look them up and see how close you are to an installer.

    My only concern about getting something like that is void the powertrain warranty

    It won't, nobody has had any issues with that and they would have to dig into the ECU to find it and that's unlikely. When you get it done you will be very glad you did.

    If its that noticeable, would the tech not notice if they took the car out to diagnose a problem?

    I have been tuned since 2018, never had an issue with dealer services, warranties, recalls, etc. The tune is undetectable and can't be seen by a dealerships standard equipment, Techstream. They can't void warranty if they cannot prove what is there.
