There’s a bolt extractor snapped off in that hole. Don’t really trust my welding skills to cut this bung off but I’m not sure I have any other choice here. Got all the other broken off studs out on the manifolds and crossover.

This stud has been damaged since 2017 and I stupidly tried to replace both since I already had to replace one (stole one for my 99 from the 04 while it’s been sitting)

You just let me know if you want the new 12 gauge primered, or the 16 gauge painted.

It'll need a little more primer touch up for the thicker one. I hate how no amount of cleanup can get rid of flaking metal bits in all the crevices. Used compressed air, a rag and acetone too.

 

My mom came down for the weekend and she's just non-stop impressed with his strength

She's wondering if I'll be ready for the toddler years

 

Don't doubt yourself, cut it off and weld a new one up!

That's if you can't drill that bit out the hole.

Truck looks damn good; here I was expecting a bucket based on the way you talk about it

 

But I don't have Kings and 285s... plus I'm missing a RTT,Maxtraxx,Skids,Bumpers,Rock Sliders,Yeti Cooler,BlackRifleCoffe Patch/stickers,TRD badging,lightbar(s) and most importantly, American flag punisher decals
