Again if it's on the same frame as the Tundra this will be the roomiest Tacoma ever built. This practically looks like a full size truck IF this is a Tacoma.

That would be such a fun job designing the camo for prototype vehicles.

I sure hope so. Only real first world complaint about the trucks. Barely enough room for the fam. Similar to compact cars.

Easy solution. Buy a full size truck. Leave the mid size for those of us who don't want gigantic trucks.

The gladiator has a pathetic breakover angle compared to the tacoma so everything has compromises.

We all just need this. A company where I am from is taking older Corollas and adding a bed and making them fully electric. Our Gov has bought some kind of neat.

The gladiator doesn’t offer a long bed and has a longer wheel base than a DCSB. Almost as long as a the DCLB Tacoma. That means they stretched the frame for more cabin space which makes the wheelbase longer and break over angle worse. Use your brain buddy.

Its Why cant we have 6” more legroom now and then why cant we just have a wider cab also next and in a few generations it will be as big as a full size, so if a mid size isnt right for you, just buy the needed full size

It's brutal - the kids fit better in my wife's Jetta than they do in my Tacoma. It's as if Toyota and everybody else has the sizes figured out so they'll get me to bump up to a big truck....

The extra space comes from a larger vehicle. It doesn't magically come out of nowhere
    Gladiator overall length 218" ; Tacoma double-cab short box - 212"
    Gladiator wheelbase 137" ; Tacoma DCSB 127"

Guess where your extra legroom came from? Yup, you guessed it, a larger truck

the point being - if you want a larger truck, buy a larger truck. Lot's of options out there.

Well the Tacoma and Tundra share the same frame so there will be plenty of flexibility for interior sizing in the 2024 Tacoma. I"m thinking this will be a huge selling point in their marketing.

Do we know that it will be on the same frame?

Same platform (TNGA), yes, but same frame?
TNGA is a modular platform, sharing some parts, but not all.

2024 Toyota Tacoma mid-size pickup truck teased (motorauthority.com)
"Sharing bits with the new Tundra full-sized pickup, the 2024 Tacoma will ride on a modified, shorter version, of the TNGA-F body-on-frame platform"

That being said, it could use the same frame, but do we know? My apologies if we do and I missed it

TNGA-F is supposed to be used yes. Shorter yes, wider I dunno. But with that flexibility comes interior space flexibility. Just my guess but it would be silly for Toyota to use a different frame and make the interior same as the 2023. We shall see.
