Hi all, just moved to Chicago area from east coast after many years away. Does anyone in the area have the stock skid plate and bolts they are no longer using and willing to sell for cheap or give away? I'm in Forest Park.

    Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Picture of my 2017 TRD Sport. In case you see me around! Still waiting for my permanent Illinois plates to come in the mail 6 weeks later.

Nice looking out. Now that I'm back in the salty midwest where I'm seeing lots of rust on vehicles I ended up using about 3 cans of the Blaster Surface Shield product under my truck and signing up for a unlimited monthly membership at a local car wash. Hope I used enough.

Yea… I’m weird. I just drive my Avalon through the winter. The trucks stay hibernating. All 7 lol

Driving home from work in Waukegan north of 176 on 43 and caught this super-duper unique Tacoma version: access cab TRD OffRoad PreRunner SR5 with a special tiny chrome Toyota badge over the factory TACOMA badge on tailgate. Didn't see axles up front, and has non-4x4 mudflaps. Hmm...

(Sorry for potato quality, camera wouldn't load and just started rolling when stoplight got moving)

Edit: I just noticed that it does have the towing package - did they add it later? Was it factory? The world will never know. But I'll give the guy this - it was a super clean truck. Mostly just hatin' on the stickers lol.

I paid $329 for it and it was on my truck since 11/2022. My truck was parked under my nice carport and very well taken care of. $200 takes it and I’ll install it for you as well.

Anyone got a recommendation for a shop that'll install a lift kit? I'm on the northside of the city but would be willing to drive a bit for a good shop

Anyone in the Chicagoland area have the stock exhaust from 3rd gen DCLB selling for cheap or giving away? Can trade you the stainless steel Magnaflow (catback) exhaust I have.

Same as most stadiums. First base line, third base line, behind home plate. The Bleachers if you wanna get drunk and rowdy.

Hit up Sluggers before or after the game, they’ve got batting cages upstairs. Murphy’s has a fun patio area if the weather is nice.
