Who is buying a vehicle based on just one topic?
Well maybe the Pro Bros are just because it says TRD PRO on the bed. :D

It’s stamped on the new ones, not just a sticker. So you have to sell your older truck to get this new, amazing future.

This endeavor has gone from being exciting, to dreading what they tease. I can deal with the teases, but dang, Toyota is teasing stupid stuff for the most part.

I just want to know about the drivetrains. And interior dimensions now.

Tell front passenger and driver to not eat so much leg room with their seats all the way back and fully reclined.

I mean trucks have become bloated over the years compared to what they used to be.
But a few for inches in leg room would go a long way with the Taco for sure.

I think with some packaging changes and a the new frame design it'd be possible. There's been alot of speculation on door sizes for Gen 4 so ya never know.
All I'm saying. Same reason some compacts or SUVs have way more room room than their competitors, all in the packaging.

When I told the salesman I wanted a TRD Pro he looked at me kind of squinty and asked, "Do you...need....a Pro? Or would an Off-Road or Limited maybe get you what you want for a little less?" My answer was, "No, I don't need a Pro; I don't even know what the difference is. But, a Pro is what I want." He seemed a little confused. Briefly.

The other day I was sitting next to what I assume was a 1st gen Tundra at a stoplight. I swear it was about the same size as my Tacoma. I was going to look up specs and then forgot about it until I read this thread.

And they might lose a segment that bought into it because it was ‘just small enough’. EVERYTHING is a compromise and Toyota decides what benefits Toyota first, then consumers. It might be that the latter informs the former and their research says bigger is better.

The Frontier shares the platform with the Titan too, l doubt you will see much size change between 3rd and 4th Gen.

It doesn’t matter. They’ll gain a bunch of new buyers that really want a Bluetooth speaker.

Ehh who knows, we'll see. Just my guess it will have a roomier interior.

Speaking of trims, it’d be nice to see a volume truck teased out tomorrow, like an SR5 or even OR/Sport, instead of the same ($60k?) Pro’s or trailstalker, er…trailhunter, er..trail whatever.

After a week of serious truck people actually discussing the merits of a cheese dash-mounted portable speaker (thank you, Rivian!), I think Toyota absolutely owes us a glimpse of a manual shifter on Tuesday.

I'm thinking engine tease or dashboard/interior tease.
