X2 power AGM, it’s a rebranded Northstar. Not very many options for a 27f agm battery.

That’s what I’m looking at right now. According to research, AGM batteries will need a voltage booster from HKB electronics. This is getting pricy.

I’m running this as well for about a year. Used to go through regular ones every year with socal heat and off road vibrations.

I got the booster fuse too. But don’t think it’s a must have right away. Better for long term longevity of course.

x2 on the X2. Own 3, all of them are over 6 years old. Good battery but they don't like short trips or sitting around. I travel a lot for work, so I put a charger on them a couple times a month.

So got most of the interior minus the dash out. My helper decided to start throwing bolts around the cab so I had to stop.

Thanks for the recommend! That’s friendlier on the wallet too.

Thank you all for the help, this was good research. I think I’m gonna have to wait on getting into an AGM battery right now. It’s just not in the budget to remodel the tray and battery. I’ll do a lead-acid in the meantime, gonna file all this research away. Sometime in the future I want to relocate the battery anyways.

I’ve been running red tops for the last 4 years, really not impressed with their longevity… probably gonna switch to x2’s or full rivers this year.

antigravity batteries are lithium, have like double the CCA’s of any other battery out there, weight close to nothing, and they make them in OEM size.

only drawback is the price. Right around 900$.

I’ve been running the antigravity battery on the Lexus for about a year now, have one for the Tacoma ready to go too. I love it so far. AZ is hard as fuck on batteries, normally they last about 2 years. But the antigravity battery I can check the health of through their app. It’s neat. It’s lithium so I imagine they’ll last a long time.

I have dual optima yellow tops that came with the truck, but I think if they ever crap out I’ll try the full throttles too. Mainly because the battery box is already installed and the sizes are comparable for their group 34s Iirc.

I added a diode and ran a chonky 2/0 so hopefully that affords the optima’s some longevity.

Do they have a warmer? I am always tempted by LiFePO4s but most don't have a warmer and lithiums don't like to be angered when it's cold out.

Im not sure. Their website says it has thermal protections, probably to keep the battery from overheating rather than freezing. That’s honestly not something I’ve ever thought about living in Arizona. We had a couple days that got close to 32* here in Phoenix, and the Lexus never had a problem starting up with the antigravity battery. So take that for what it’s worth lol

I've had one of these in my truck for like 2 years ish. Works pretty well! Makes the starter sound likes it's on roids haha i'm more worried about breaking a tooth on the starter gear than any issues with the battery at this point

No warmer specifically but it has a BMS and whatever it does to cycle power through the cells to keep them level has been enough to keep it warm on cold mornings for me so far. Definitely takes an extra crank or two when below freezing, and i only have a few dozen starts in the negatives, but even then it's hard to tell it apart from starts with a stock battery on a warm day
