@DragonPro23 Hello! New to the thread, I have had a deposit down on a 2023 Limited for a month or so now. Dealer wont give me any delivery details other than "Later this month." Can you help with a status?

I just got excited when last week's update said it would be on a train for April 25th. Frustrating. Not even like the thing has a ton of port install options either, just black badges, door sill protectors, and rubber floor mats.

Just had a dealer tell me i could order a manual access cab but that i would have to wait a year.....

so i guess that officially confirms the '24's will come with a manual access....

Or they just told you that not thinking about it. That is what they told me until I started asking more questions and they said you have a slight change of getting it...that is when I found a different dealer with one allocated.

I asked about it since we all know the '24's are coming. He said they could just upgrade the order to a '24.... I hate clueless sales people.

Forgot to say, I'm a Bronco refugee who waited 15 months for an order before Ford stopped producing manual transmissions for 2023. So needless to say I'm out of patience for any hiccups. haha

Don't blame you! It has definitely been a challenging few yrs to buy a new vehicle that's for sure. Especially the " speciality type vehicles"

Me, too. My taco should be at the dealer this week.
I honestly think the Tacoma is more in the same class of my 71 bronco than the new broncos.

Yeah, and that 100% appeals to me. Honestly liked Tacomas for years, had one for work a few years ago. Wasn't thinking about buying one last year because I wanted a shorter vehicle. But man, I'm willing to move past that to not waste another summer not doing stuff.

"Specialty vehicle" Ford produced 160,000 of them last year. :p

I'll apologize in advance as this isn't a "hey check my Tacoma VIN again" request but my work spouse is waiting on a Forerunner and isn't getting much from the dealer. With that can you check JTERU5JR0P6151655? It might be a temp VIN. Thanks

Interesting. That's the same as last week. The Jasper Arrow was the only car carrier that left Lazaro Cardenas on the 26th, so I believe it is the carrier. It was repositioned today at Long Beach, so perhaps this truck hasn't been offloaded yet. I'm going to be optimistic and think that it is there and will be ready for a rail car later this week. I'll check again Thursday or Friday. A huge thank you once again, Dave!

For those getting the calls for their Tacos, congratulations!
