Through Toyota Finance the current incentives on tacoma's are 2.99/36 3.99/48 and 4.99 for 60. It excludes Pro's and 4x2's. Those rates have been the same as far as I can remember since at least Feb. Don't know why you are surprised! That's what happens when the corrupt and incompetent (non federal) reserve raises interest rates. Sure beats 8% the going rate without incentives from a manufacture, and that's with a 800+ credit score.

Heck I got mine at 1.9%.. or was it 2.9%... I tried for 0% but they wouldn't have it LOL.
Wife's 2017 Subaru was 0% and a fair price at that.

I put down 50% in cash tho and have 860 credit score.

Regardless I plan on paying off my 2021 SR5 this year. I hate payments.

Oh the good ole days! I remember getting 0 for 63 back in 08 for a STI. Unbelievable if you think about it. Usually you can never get that kind of rate on a flagship car. I also got 0% on a 05 EVO MR. Man I wish I could do that now on a tacoma pro. LoL

Yes the prices have gone up, the MSRP for a comparable 2023 is about $1,000 more than my 2020 was.
But it seems that the OTD prices are much higher now because the dealerships aren't willing to make 'good' deals.
I got my 2020 for ~8% off MSRP + a $1,000 rebate. That was in November 2019. I don't think you can get anything close to that now.

Back in jan of 2020, I got $3k off msrp, plus another $1500 rebate, while having to order the truck. The sales manager was a bit reluctant to go to 3k below msrp, but I was able to get him there. I'm sure they made some of it back on the tech packages I took. Seemed after covid people had more money to spend for doing nothing. They were willing to pay higher prices for big items, and dealers took advantage of it.

A good price is where the seller and buyer walk away happy.
