Gotta get yourself to Canyonlands. 3 separate districts that are not connected;Island in the Sky go in the back way via Potash Road; Needles district entry down somewhat Monticello is fabulous; Maze-haven’t been yet, on my bucket list.

That last one is what they call the Grumpy Ford bumper, move over Grumpy Jeep grilles.

I dunno how anyone's affording a Tacoma or anything else newer than '95 between 15-25, I can't tell if I'm jealous you're affording not-ratbags so young or jealous that stateside trucks are (hopefully) cheaper lol. 1st Gen Tacomas with under-foot "air vents" here sell for $6,000+.

$70 for oil change and tire rotation is a deal today. Looks like your truck takes 6 quarts of oil. Run those numbers…
Are Canadian dollars even real anymore? o_O

Great question, sure feels real when I'm spending them :spending::censored:. $70 is a steal for a full change, last time I bought oil for my Tacoma I think 5L was $100 alone, mind you in CAD again, still wild. Hard to remember that in 2010-2012 $1 CAD was $1.03 USD.

Well my parents bought me my 2009 Tacoma in 2020 as an Eagle Scout, graduation and 18th birthday gift. When it was totalled in January this year I put the money from the insurance towards my new truck and my parents loaned me the rest. My last truck had almost 200k on it with a hole in its rusty frame so it was a polished turd. The last few years I've been mowing for 7 or 8 people and doing landscaping in the summer on the side while working a full time summer job. Last year I was working 60hrs a week for the entire summer and I only had 2 or 3 days off. I enjoyed it though so it wasnt too bad. :)

In the winter I do snow removal for most of the people I mow for.

I broke it down in my thread :boink::D
About $30 for a 5qt jug and $11 for another 1qt. Another $6 or $7 for the Motorcraft filter. So call it $50 for oils and filter and ill still have to do the tire rotation. I was at about $35 to $40 on my old Tacoma.

Oh and the oil is Motorcraft Synthetic Blend too so a full synthetic would probably be a little more but they didn't offer full synthetic

That's pretty cool, I wish my allergies weren't so bad!

I afforded mine two ways. 1, my parents loaned me half until I could pay it back, and 2, I bought the worst (but cheapest!) tacoma that was available. There's no way I could have afforded the truck if I had to pay all the money I had to put into it upfront.

I’m pretty close to this pace too. Don’t have a second vehicle (yet), so Tacoma mileage is going up rapidly for me. Can’t keep gas in the tank either.
