For those of us who grew up in the 80s, and then had kids suddenly bringing this song back (not one of the best of the era by far - we were all absolutely sick of it), it's just....just annoying. Hence the pleasure of rickrolling to surprise/annoy others.

Since you are in OR, I'd say the tailgate so it doesn't block your vision. If you were near me, I'd say on the windshield so you would be put out of our misery :)

Still all in my head… but I’m keeping the chrome bumper!
I was just “chatting” with them on their website and they told me all their racks need drilling… maybe I was talking to the new intern lol. It looks slick. Does it touch the paint in front? I’m stoked to find a way to get my longboard to the water.

You can see on the installation of the UpTop rack what you are dealing with (starting at 15:45 is when they show what you need to do on the Tacoma). The drilling that you heard about is to go through the weather stripping, not the roof itself.

I’m finally looking forward to hauling some weight in the 3rd Gen work truck without having to sweat about it. I was worried the 47’s would be too harsh of a ride with no weight in the bed. But the ride home from me bros house was not bad at all!!! Plenty of rough expansion joints on the 10 freeway and Topanga’s “ledge” on the road near Hidden Treasures were soaked up in a way I was not expecting. Super stoked on the Sumos as I want to keep the factory SR5 height and rake. Good stuff.

Bed tent...hmmm. Tell me more. I don't need a RTT but another option might be interesting.

That would be stupid if they designed a rack that you need to drill holes in your roof to mount it when factory holes already exist. I’m not the original poster but my prinsu roof rack mounted right into the factory holes. You just have to remove the taping that covered the holes and make holes in your weather stripping.

    Check out prinsu

I really can't see that 4 inch long piece of metal doing much in a crash but OK.

Its pretty impressive how the paint on these SCS wheels holds up to the rigors of daily abuse. I've had one set of painted wheels prior to this and they got eaten up pretty bad over a few years time... The paint on my SCS wheels still looks new after 50k miles and 3 years.

I got a rightline bed tent, There are a few companies that make tents like this, but rightline made theirs without a bottom tarp, so you dont have to unload the bed to install it and you can have a bed cover and still be able to use it.
