ASSHOLE PARKING

Lol this reminds me of when I went to my dentist last week. Parking lot was completely empty, so I decided to make use of a "space" that no one else could possibly have fit in, but had plenty of space for the car next to me to open their door.

True, though it does happen a surprising amount of the time given my surroundings.

What I hate is those who just shove the cart towards the return, which would be the heightened risk of parking anything near there

There’s like 3 of those where I live… I’m not sure it would actually fit into a regular space. But knowing that and parking that close to the store front… a$$hole.

 

Double Asshole: Truck is not in a parking space, and the boat trailer is almost completely across the driving lane.

 

The girlfriend sent me this. I love that she plays the asshole parking photo game with me.

 

The sad part is, with just a modicum of taste it could actually look pretty good

Didn't notice that before but yes, I think you are correct. Maybe the driver doesn't like smokers?

 

The title of this thread being what it is, we should all remember and be aware that many so-called asshole parkers are in fact incompetent behind the wheel, and shouldn't be on the road endangering themselves and everyone around them. Incompetent is a harsh word to use, but it is what it is, and these folks value their independence like anyone else, but often just can't cut it behind the wheel. Mostly elderly, like my wife, who voluntarily gave up driving after straddling a parking lot concrete divider, was never an asshole parker, asshole driver, or anything but just a nice old lady behind the wheel. Those of you with elderly drivers whose cars have dents and bruises, please consider taking decisive action to save the world and themselves from bodily harm.

 

Right near the entrance of the business and next to a handicap spot, it’s fine to drive a big truck but I would think parking out a little ways would probably be a bit more courteous

 

Much truth. We used to "let" my grandfather drive us places occasionally to make sure. Just because..never any evidence to do so. Never had to take his car though, he drove till age 93.

 

Way to go! Saved his self respect. That’s good news for me too, maybe I’ll have another ten years behind the wheel!

 

someone said bad parking, this was when I started driving last yr, idk this was prolly my 5th time driving ever. My dad said to just put the car in, no fixing no nothing, doesn't matter how and be back in 10 minutes. I'm good at parking now no need to worry if you see me around lol
