Usable space under the tire, MaxTrax fit across the top, various accessories mount on the side panels. Works for me :)

Rust - is it in areas where it gets some wear-and-tear? Can it be prevented w/ a coat of paint?

OK let’s get something straight right now your set up is bad ass. Thank you so much for all the pictures. What a very functional and practical set up. Plus it really looks good. Do you have a link? I’ll look it up also. Thank you man.

Thanks, man. Yes, that's correct. As a fabricator, I carry lots of tubing, steel plate, plywood, lumber, etc. Never had a problem using my bed space for work.

Yeah it's just a few spots of surface rust. I used to go through the car wash a ton until they Perma banned me for all my stuff. Nothing I'd worry about and Dirtcom offers a pretty rock solid warranty.

Thanks for the kind words. I've put a ton into it as of late. Really happy with it. Last thing I need is sliders. ☠️

Well, I called and left a message with them yesterday. I would like to talk to someone so they can help me walk through the buying process of everything I want. No one called me back yet. I’ll report back at the end of today with an update.

I am still debating on this or Rig'd - what made you go w/ Trailswing?

Well hopefully Rig’d has customer service because Trailswing doesn’t.

You can purchase online and it does take them a day or two to respond. When I first learned about Trailswing a year ago, they responded via email - answered all my questions.

I ordered my swing out a little over a month ago and I can't wait to put it on. What do you think about it so far besides from the rust spots? Have you took it on some trails yet?

I need someone to verbally walk me through what to click on and what to order. The guy at Rig’d did. It would just be nice to have some really professional customer service. I know that’s expecting too much sometimes.

Got it. If it helps these are what's in my cart currently. I am opting for the left-hand version since my RTT opens to the right.

Thank you brother. You’ve been very helpful on this thread and I appreciate that. I really did think that more people here with all kinds of different bumpers and swings that hold spar tires would have chimed in and posted pictures. I was pretty sure this forum had thousands of members with this type of rig. I guess not.

Just a heads up. They are a very small operation and it's only a few guys that work there. They are most likely dual or triple hatting their positions there. They make a super quality product though and don't outsource a single thing. Mainly why I went with them as it's super overbuilt. Unfortunately I don't think they have the bandwidth to take calls like that. They have always responded to my emails though.

There were other reasons I went with them over Rig'd. Don't regret it.

My setup is the same. I think I actually prefer it that way anyway as I tend to access the passenger side more at camp.

In this situation you gotta do a bit of research as there are many threads about this sort of thing along with all the rig profiles people spend time to create. They aren't gonna do the leg work to repost their stuff for every person that asks a question if they have already in other sections of the forum. YouTube was also a big help when I was deciding as there are some solid review videos online of the few hitch mounted swings on the market. I thought it was helpful to post mine as I have never posted my truck on here yet. :anonymous:
