So, I'm browsing through the Owners Manual for my new John Deere zero turn mower, and in the "Safety" section, I see this illustration.

So my twisted sense of humor immediately says "Suppose a person saw this illustration, but didn't read or understand the words. Do you think they would look at the illustration and interpret it to say 'For best use of product, you should run over child going forward, and backwards, for maximum benefit'?"

I mean, seriously. WTF is the point of this exact illustration showing a baby, crawling on the ground right next to a mower in operation??? What else are we supposed to think??

I don't care what civic program or "thing" is allegedly going to benefit from it - I always vote NO on any bond measure or other ballot measure that will increase my taxes in any way. It's my money, I worked to earn it, I'm keeping it!
