I don't care what anyone does having fun. I have decided thatI will rehab my 09 and keep it for the foreseeable future. I'm intrested just like everyone else to see the new concept.

And how could you possibly know that that specific mule is a sr5 trim besides a best guess, even the 2016 late mules seen testing were a mix up of trim level pieces. The gauge cluster also appears to be a hybrid max looking at the display which is only available on higher trims with the tundra and would assume upcoming Tacoma.

“Some suv, lol” you do know Toyota shares parts in the bin across a wide range of products. The tundra and Tacoma have never been a clone of each other nor interior Toyota would not eat into two of their models market by having them entirely similar. Not saying it’s gonna get the Rav4 screen, doubt it but don’t think it’s gonna be exactly the same as the tundra and that’s evident by the photos we’ve seen so far already.

I'm sorry but you need to go back and look at those photos carefully.

Then go back and do it again over and over, maybe a dozen times will do you in.

The TRD Pro press photos have their headunit top height at even greater than the speedometer height, just like the Limited/TRD Pro Tundra.

The leaked test mule clearly has a smaller built in headunit period.

If you are so hell bent on thinking the Tacoma is more likely to resemble the RAV4 which shares absolutely nothing with the Tacoma, instead of the Tundra which was built on the same architecture as the Tacoma, then I don't know what to say other than you do you bud.

Either way, just sit around and wait until Toyota releases more official info, no need to waste my breath anymore and feel free to tag me when they release info contradicting what I said, will be waiting.

They did not officially tease the 2022 Tundra for many months. 4 months isn't "many" in my opinion, it's more on the side "few". COVID impacted their ability to hold a large scale event in the summer, which is why most of their 2021MY redesigns were not revealed that way in 2020 and just by video at HQ for both the Sienna and Venza. Mirai predated COVID shutdowns.

To my memory, Toyota showed the first teaser of the Tundra on May 18, 2021. Anything before that, didn't count at all.

After that, they got leaked 4 weeks later on June 17th and in annoyance, then revealed the exterior on June 18, 2021.

Followed by more teasers into September 2021.

Unless you have inside information, I'm not certain about this at all. The circumstances around the Tundra reveal were very different.

They withheld a great deal of information until September 19, 2021 and I don't see them repeating that again at all.

Again, the Tacoma and Tundra having a similar timeline is what Toyota is aiming for, 4 extra weeks compared to what they did for the Tundra is nothing really. Not sure why you are implying that is a big deal when they released plenty of Tundra info leading up to the full release on Sept.

Furthermore, the 2023 Chicago Auto Show which is huge for Trucks and Toyota has plenty of appearences in it for the Tundra and Tacoma, is happening on September so..

You can say that they gonna be in "hot water" all day long yet the Tacoma will still be the #1 selling midsize truck.
