    Good Morning :hattip:

Another day of cooler than normal temps here in Middle Tennessee with temps only reaching 60deg . Also watching the news our local weather forecast shows more rain by this weekend starting on Friday

This sucks as yet another Car show weekend will be canceled due to wet weather

Very comforting to hear, thanks Andy

My long time Optometrist would often say "You want to get cataracts". Of course I always looked at him like o_O He would chuckle and say "That means you've lived a fair long time, most people don't get them/need surgery for cataracts until their late 60's or 70's." Yeah, like that makes me feel any better :rofl::rofl::facepalm:

I'm in much the same boat, I don't mind needles so much, but I don't like anything being stuck in my eye. Fingers, needles, scalpels, eyedrops, it doesn't matter; I can't wear contacts for that reason. I've been having to go in for more frequent eye exams due to a pressure issue, ugh. When the time comes, so long as they knock me out for surgery, I'll be ok, but I'm a very difficult eye patient if I'm awake.

Not to ruin things for you @BarcelonaTom67 but mom just had her eyes done a month ago. No anesthesia. They give you a pill of some kind that’s supposed to keep you calm but you’re awake. Mom said the worst part was that the table hurt her back and she was really uncomfortable because of that but she didn’t feel anything the doc was doing other than water dripping in her eye was he was working. And they only did one eye at a time so she had to go through it two times.

You're not really good at the whole 'comforting' thing, are you?

It's not so bad; people shoot guns from all sorts of moving objects. I fully intend to give this a try next time I mow. I think clearing the Texas Star would be a real challenge! I just have to decide which gun to try it with, a pistol or rifle, a 22lr or something bigger...:quickdraw::infantry:

We'll see. That could be difficult. The only video equipment I have is my phone. Gun in one hand, tractor wheel in the other.:notsure:

Man kind of glad I didn't come here first this morning. The thoughts of injections in my eye make my whole body tighten up. I get injections in other parts of my body just so I can move and no problem. Well for the most part... I'm at 3X progressive readers not a lot of room to go any higher ugh.

Found a 4x4 shop 10.4 miles from my house in the middle of no where that is highly ranked. Older guy, wait he is around my age and has 3 young bucks that work for him. Replace leaf packs, shocks and front lower ball joint boots more than $4K from dealer. He just called me and OME replacement parts installed plus boots is $1,400. I told him to order parts. I just found a new mechanic for the truck first thing he asked is how is the frame. They also do welding and frame repair. Mainly on jeeps but also Toyotas.

But who's counting Andy :rofl:It will be here before you know it! I'm thinking that I am just going to keep on working until I fart dust. My job isn't that bad so no complaints. But I warn them not to piss me off because I can punch out at anytime LOL.

I dispatched 2 red squirrels this morning with my PCP 22. Last fall a red climbed into the engine compartment of the truck and did more than $1k of damage. It is war on the reds now. Chipmunks dug tunnels under the paver brick driveway and retaining wall and water got in the tunnels and wiped both out. Just got quotes in, $48,000. Chipmunks are now on the list too!

Silencer for 22 finally got out of BATF jail after 1 year need to pick it up when I can.

Kind of overkill for chippies and reds with the PCP but options are always good.

FAIR in Italy screwed up my custom order Iside 16 ga. after waiting 6 months. So back to the factory it goes and waiting starts again. For the trouble IFG offered me pick of the litter with family and friends discount for a 16 ga. Prestige, it is out for delivery to the FFL dealer right now. But shooting 5 stand after work today so it will have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up.

I like the shooting bench. I need to build one, but I don't know that I want to make it perm with cinderblocks like yours. I think I'd kinda rather have it all made out of heavy lumber so it can be moved with the tractor. That's a nice shotgun. I've got a few Belgium Brownings, but the Italians are out of my league. My papa bought a couple of Berettas directly from the factory in the '80s, but nothing that fancy.

    Thank you, Dr. Morale...... :bananadead::help:

Well, if my Doc is correct in his estimate that I have ~10 years to go..... maybe they will have something better, or maybe I can find a doctor that will do full anesthesia. Or maybe I'll get run over by a bus the day before, and it won't matter :goingcrazy::rofl:
