Would anybody be willing to piggy back my order with theirs and then just ship mine to me? They can't ship to Canada directly due to legal restrictions.

Too much for TW to know
Nice idea and it looks like a good product.

I don't understand why everyone on here wants a "wired" in edition. If I wanted to wire something in I would have already bought a couple of LED's and some wire and done it already. I like how its battery powered and I don't have to mess with wires and drilling. The thing I would like to see in this product is a motion sensor or something that turns on the lights when you get in the truck and off when you get out. It just seems kind of like a cheap Walmart light if you have to turn it off and on all the time. But that is just my opinion.

You had me at "Made in the U.S.A."! I'll pick up one here as soon as you say that the amber is the standard color for the buttons.

I think a wired version would be the way to go!

A small handful of select mods.
Hence the wired version that turns off and on with your interior lights. Adding a motion type sensor to this will just sky rocket the end user price.

if you make the wired version, seeing as how the touch buttons wont be needed, sub them out for buttons that would change led colors to a number of preset colors and a scan mode as well that would scan and fade through all the colors. id like that.

also, tieing it into the dome light would solve the problem of having it come on when entering the vehicle.

I would prefer the wired LEDS.

If the price is right I might jump on the GB. The cold weather up here kills batteries pretty quick and the manually turning on/off is a turn off..

Awesome design! I like how you kept in mind the fact that it should look like it was part of the truck from factory...

Can I suggest maybe some more pics? or at least what it looks like from the outside of the vehicle to show how much ambience the light lets out.

Good luck with it. If there is a group buy, ill most likely be joining in on that

This design uses four 3V batteries. If they are used in series it would a simple mod to wire up to the dash lights or to the dome light.

    Thanks for the kind words!

We are still in the process of restocking but will certainly have green available.

We will announce tentative GB dates in the coming weeks.

Also, for those waiting for a 'wired' version, please contact me directly to discuss in greater detail your goals. We are exploring this option for the V2.0 design (still tentatively mid 2012).

Forgive me for my shallowness, but for anyone one to produce a feature of this calibure, I really don't think that $60 is alot...after all you're supporting a home grown product,,,,lotsa respect to flyeyez designs
