Staying for a two + years. Shipping and conversion to German specs is cheaper than storing vehicle here and getting a new one there. Parts are not the problem. Got a few boxes of what I may need for the next two years and one can order parts through Toyota in Belgium (or from cool Taco owners in Tacomaworld). But some electronics are an issue, they are blocked by region. Not so much the functions to drive the vehicle, but rather the convenience stuff, as navigation, connectivity, SOS button, ... However, if the electronics to drive the vehicle get jacked up, well then, I have to think about a solution. For the rest, with apple car play I can get the map from the phone on the display. So, there are some workarounds. And when back CONUS, all will be as so nothing happened...

Sounds like a hundred dollars in hassle for twenty dollars in benefit... It seems to happen a lot here on TW. But you do you.

Sure me will do me. Asked for technical advice, not lifestyle opinions… Happens a lot on TW. Let’s leave it at that

Good news! Shipping will take 3 weeks only! Considering not to pull the short pin - never touch a running system. The Tacoma has been sitting for 3 weeks in the garage with no movement previously, so should not be an issue in the container.

Thanks for all your help and technical advice!

I'd say see how much parasitic draw the battery is being affected by at the moment. If that's from accessories you've installed, or are unneccessary then disconnect those. I think your truck would start the truck fine otherwise.

You're shipping a truck. That can't be cheap.
Throw a brand new $150 battery and required sockets in the cab.
    Done.
