2023 SR5 chrome grille bezel replacement

Just purchased a 2023 Celestial Silver SR5 V6.
Looking to replace the chrome grille bezel with a matte black one.
I searched the forums and saw some recommendations for a 2016-2020 replacement; part #5271104010. I put in my 2023 sr5 and it said item would not fit.
Then I found this 2022 part #52711-04040 that looked like a similar item…also said for 2023 sr5 part would not fit…..

Anyone know what matte black grille bezel would work for 2023 SR5 v6 to replace the chrome grille bezel?

Interested as well, as I have the same truck and would love a black bezel on the front as I have the overlays and insert on the tailgate

Yea was thinking the same if I can’t find the part….

 

I was able to swap the bezel/grille surround from my 2016 SR grille and place it on a 2019 SR5 grille with no problems. I didn’t see any difference with the clips and screw positions so they should be interchangeable. So the black or chrome bezels should be compatible.

 

I may be mistaken but isn’t the pre-collision sensor in the front emblem? If the emblems are switched out wouldn’t this trip the warning?

I’m traditional in the sense I tend to rely on the pre-collision sensor in my brain more than the truck but would be bothersome to have to deal with a warning light for an emblem swap

 

The reason why they say it isnt compatible is because from 2021 forward, the grill ring and most trim-level grills are now one piece. 2016-2020, all trim levels (except the pro) required the bezel ring.

You can buy the bezel ring and it will fit the truck - I do not know enough about the SR5 grill to know whether it is still a two piece assembly or not.



I bought a cheap Amazon ring and it fit fine. I was going to pull the link, but it seems that they all disappeared. Im guessing somebody's lawyer had something to say about that?
