    Oh there will be some mods all right
    The stock halogen low beams are unbelievably horrible BUT, all you got to do is toss in an h9 bulb in the low beams (which is stupid easy) and you're good to go because the high beams are already pretty decent.

    After spending an evening aiming them I have come to a few conclusions. 1. I'm not a huge fan of spot pattern. 2. When aimed perfectly they are better than my initial first impressions 3. I am confident that the amount paid is largely for the warranty and build quality more so than for how well they perform.

    Yeah, I usually go for a combo pattern. Spot has always seemed a little narrow focused for me. Does the job but I like a wide spread of light also
