What are the recommendations to get the cable from on top and outside the vehicle to inside the cab. I understand going through the rear door or window gaskets but are there better/ more permanent solutions?

Do I run it down the backside of the cab and come up through a grommet in the floor? If so, how best to control the cable along the outside of the cab so it doesn’t flop around?

I’m sure there’s some very clever solutions you all have used. Thanks!

How you described it is how I ran mine. Antenna is at the rear driver side at the end of the Prinsu on the roof, cable runs down the driver side tucked into rear window rubber to in between the bed and the cab. Then down under the cab to a grommet on the driver side rear floor area. In the cab to the box under the driver seat. for power I'm using the cig lighter in the center console. Been working fine. I don't leave it on all the time, just when I need it.

my antenna is on the front bumper, so it was pretty easy to follow factory harness routing and clippings and through the firewall along with the harness i followed.

I have the amp mounted on the back of the cab, behind the seats. the cable to the antenna goes out the back vent, down and up into the bed under the tonneau.

The antenna is stored along the bed rail using bungee-hoops. When I use the antenna, I attach to a ram mount on the bed rack with the cable coming up between the tonneau and tailgate door.

The cable to the mobile-holder goes along the passenger side under the rug, and into the glove box where it's stored until I pull out to use. When I get off the lazy train, I'll hard wire to the switch panel.

Great comment about using a switch panel. I plan to connect/control/operate it through a switch pro 9100. Called them yesterday an inquired about lopping off the cigarette liter play and they said- NO. I purchased an alternate pigtail from them for $20 so I could connect directly to a switch pro. I guess I could have used a secondary cigarette lighter outlet and just connected that to a switch pro?
