I've been setting mine cold pressure to 33, seems to work for me. Doubt it improves mileage, but seems to hold up better during the cold snaps.

I do notice I've been getting 1-2mpg less on the manual truck. Guess I need to keep my foot out of it. Although, rear end ratios are different as well. :pout:

On secondary roads up to 55-60 I can routinely see 25 mpg or better, steady highway will drop that to 20-21 keeping under 70.
Going faster really makes the milage drop.

Manuals have 4.30 gears, autos 3.90.

I'm sure a longer stretch would net me more mileage. My work commute is only 17.5 miles one way, and involves several different back roads. If it was strait through, I'm sure I'd get better. Oh well, it's a truck.

Just think how sharp you look getting bad mileage, that's what I do. :fistbump:

Been trying to keep it that way too! I've been parking my truck way out in the new lot they just built so people don't dent my shit. Co-worker (in a different department) sends me this...

I generally park way out where it is empty(er) much to the :( of Mrs Green.
Parking way off to the side of the lot preferably where I can back up to a curb is even better.

Personal rule: Always park with the passenger side towards the building - when you approach the vehicle you can do a visual on the tires, etc. without walking around.

I was a back into the last row guy until we got a new batch of fleet vehicles and the parking spaces all disappeared. I'm back to backing in again.

Bonus, there's a line of trees there so you get some late afternoon shade.

Edit: Documented proof of the back-in.

At the old job the power lines ran right along where we parked, my little XJ Cherokee was small enough to not be under them, longer vehicles not so much -- birds like to sit on wires -- birds $#!t without any worry about what is below them...
