Threaded version of the gas cap holder. I’ve had an another but this one is my favorite. Tight fit on the door and I like that I can’t accidentally knock the cap loose, plus has a nice rugged texture. Made by demand from a friend who has a small FDM 3D printing business. He now has multiple colors and designs to choose from.

Painted the glove box lock cylinder this week with some VHT frame paint I already had. Surprised how fire it is compared to the silver. Free-ish mods ftw.

Looks good! Did you sand first or just spray? I've never used frame paint.

All I did was clean with isopropyl. Gonna see how it lasts. It laid out beautifully with 4 coats.

Super fire, didn’t realize how easy it was to remove that lock. This was the last chrome piece I needed to black out

I have an extra rattle can or three of flat black Rust-oleum. I may have to give that a try!

Yep! Not sure of the cost, as I used an old kitchen mat after the wife bought a new one. I attached mine with double-sided tape. Still removable if I want it to be, but don't expect I will very often. (Patched hole happened the day I installed it, of course!)
Been on there for 3 years now.

Did they start making these again? I'm so happy I was able to get one from a previous batch but I would love a spare.

I lucked out and found it on eBay. I’ve been looking for quite some time since me-so stopped making them.

Nice. Now, were you planning on painting the grey dash pieces that the vents sit in (I'm talking the circles and horizontals) black too. It would, IMHO look stealth fire. :bananadead:

    Just getting started.
When I've tried using that my truck's TSS started having intermittent problems.

I've already dechromed and repainted all the interior accents to MGM. Are you talking about something else?

Advice to you - put a wee screen at the end of the drain line to keep mud-dauber wasps from nesting in there (and plugging it!)

Poor photo since the wash-out makes the screen to appear not to be a screen.
Did this mod back in '17 and cannot remember where I got the screen. Sprinkler system supply maybe?? It could be a regular garden hose screen that snuggly fits OVER the drain line. ??

Those Mud Daubers get into everything. Here's a nest inside my wife's Rav4 mirror.

    Damn! Yeah they do.
I put my ditch lights in my side mirrors. Afterwards I added foam around the holes in the mirror covers (that the light shines out of) to stop intrusion of unwanted beasts.
