There are a plethora of discussions on here about this subject. Some trucks have issue others don’t. Seems less prevalent in the 22’s but it’s there. Mine has no issues whereas another guy I know with a 22 his is pretty bad.

Having the dealer reset learned values is a good place to start.

I have a 22 Off Road and mine was really annoying too. Get the Overland Torque Tune. Makes a huge difference. I just got it last week and I love my truck again.

    I musta drove like a "Grandma"...lol!

Starting at 10:26, the manual (page 163) suggest certain driving manners.

Not saying this is true fact but I did not experience any significant transmission issues even before I got my OTT Tune.

Of course, she drives with a lot more torque now but the transmission was never an issue for me.

Even if you buy the manual I would recommend a tune. It adds a lot of power low end and you don’t have to shift as often or press the gas pedal as far. Both appendages will get a rest.

I recommend upgrading to a Carbon Fiber fishing pole. You won't regret it.

No money, all went to truck...
yeah I thought this was about fishing gear too. I was confused why one would what to "upgrade" or "remove" the fishing gear that came with the truck. Weird combo. But then it turned into a tuning thread so not all that surprised...

I found it very odd someone wanted to upgrade fishing gear, yet get rid of fishing gear, at the same time. I knew this thread didn't add up.
