    Stock-ish
I'd call a handful of body shops, that's how I got my spare bedsides.
Got mine off of a truck that was rear ended, so the lower half is all creamed (we cut that part off anyways) and got both sides for $400, same color as my truck lol

That’s a heck of a deal. I have some chopped up ones for free if you want them. Trimmed for tires, hc rear bumper, and my initial plan for an exo cage. But mostly the right shape and there.

The way you’re wheeling I’d say I dovetail is in your future haha. Love mine so far. 10” narrower at the tail lights than stock

why don’t you use 1st gen tundra axle? Grind the cup and you’re good to go. Stronger cv joints then the taco one too.

Yea that will be my next option. I figure id try to make use of one of the 3 sets of axles I have in the garage first if I can get shafts. One of the other sets will be for my 2wd Mode

it’s been a while since I had my 03 4wd taco with a camburg 3.5” kit but the cv joint in a tundra is a stronger version compared to the stock taco axle. I went to auto zone and got two tundra cv axles with lifetime warranty. Ground the cup for more droop with no bind and put new boots on. Had no issues in the handful of years I ran it. Would be smart to have a a set of the stock one minus shafts in case a trail break down.

That said if you stay stock you could always get a manual hub kit. In my mind that is only benefit of keeping the weaker Tacoma cv axles.
