3rd Gen Reliability experience from owners so far

I have 9k miles on a 2022. Very reliable

 

I love my truck. 2020 (build date 3/20). Only issue I’ve had was it got stolen. I haven’t experienced any of the transmission issues people complain about. Zero. None. It shifts perfect for my driving style.

Very comfortable. It’s our first choice for a long trip.

 

Yeah I consider it to be an oddity and my experience an 8/10. They did fix it and take care of me with free loaners but at the same time it was frustrating going back weekly for things that should have been inspected on a CPO vehicle.

It was a much better experience than dealing with Ford in the past

 

I have 75K miles on my truck. The only issue I had was a small oil leak by the timing cover at around 30k miles due to insufficient sealant/gasket it (factory installation issue so warranty covered the extensive labor and parts). Other than that and usual recalls, it has been Toyota great!

 

2022 trd off rd. No mods at all. Have it 11 months and put 17300 miles on it. So far so good.

 

109k miles on my 16 OR. Only problem was the instrument cluster TSB.

 

2022 Trd OR that I got last June. 13920 miles and it's been problem free as you'd expect from a not-even-one-year old vehicle. Love it.

 

2017 here purchased 12-16.

I wasted my money on the extended warranty.

 

I'm at 330k now but gonna be parked for a bit. Hurt both of my legs & can't drive.

 

Sorry you got hurt man , hope your recovery goes quickly . Your space shuttle mileage is awesome , gives me confidence for long term reliability

 

Damn man, hope you feel better soon. At some point we need a 3.5 high mileage sticky thread. There has to be more people getting close too, or over 200k. I don’t think anyone has your mileage though.

 

2017 off road with 82,000 fun miles . No issues . No leaks so far . Still drives like new . Only thing that made me love driving /keeping this is kdmax pro otherwise I would have traded this .

 

Well I just broke the 200k mark on my 16 DCSB 3.5l MT and in all honesty I love this pickup still. I've had 0 engine failures or major problems. Engine still seems as strong as day 1 and runs just as good. Only general maintenance parts nothing major changed. Surprisingly still on my factory clutch! No slippage at high rpm or anything. Going to a centerforce clutch soon. I will never trade or sell this pickup in my life, 0 buyers remorse.

Same. Just gotta remind myself in January to get my $1000 dollars back as I haven’t used the warranty. Hope the next 6 months go smoothly!

 

2016 OR, rear main seal blew at 100k. Everything was taken care of though I didn’t pay much of anything. Other than that not a single issue. 111k now

 

What are you driving the Dakar yearly!?

 

Alignment and battery replaced under warranty on 2020 Sport 2WD with 101K miles. No other issues.

 

2017 MT 4x4. Orig clutch, orig batt, have changed only back-up light bulbs, tires, & wiper blades.
Trouble free! No leaks. Two recalls: blower fan was completed. plate lights not needed.

 

Man, I would be very frustrated as well. The closest dealer to me is ~45min

 

16 OR purchased new ow with 85k miles.

3rd brake light leak - fixed under warranty due to recall.
Weeping rear diff - fixed under warranty due to recall.

No other issues
