I think there's no harm in it as long as its not a surprise at check out lol. No harm in them advertising one price and then you call to confirm and they tell you a different. If you drove over there to buy it based on that then id say the consumer fault for not verifying it first. Be no different then if you road over there before verifying that had any in stock . If they told you the out the door price was $6,300 on phone and then you road over there and it was $7,500 id be pissed but but if they said $7,500 on phone then id just say thanks and hang up and no harm in that.

Then that's where we differ. Be upfront and honest from the start. That earns respect. I'm thankful that it's not something I have to have and can come in here and bitch about shitty businesses and wait for the dealer I bought the Rally from to get one.

Ive seen it getting done with new cars but not used cars.

My personal opinion is it’s an unethical marketing practice and if they’ll do that I’ll be covering my butt hole during the whole process.

Before the car parts shortage I walked out on a salesman that insisted on all these add ons for a car my wife wanted. He was calling me by the time I was out of their lot trying to deal. I told him it was too late and we bought what she wanted the next morning somewhere else.

Heck I bought a new truck cause used ones 3 years old with 30k on them were selling for a couple of thousand less than a new one.
This market is crazy but getting better.

Nope. No taxes are charged in GA for bikes. I'd pay those at the DMV when I tagged it. Went through that with the Rally.

You can save yourself some headache by asking for out the door price. If you don’t like it, go buy from someone else. Just sounds like a shitty place to buy from, that’s all.

GA also charges some strange tax too. When I was Tacoma shopping I found a good deal in GA. Well, after that weird fee/tax, it wasn’t such a good deal. So I’m bought from Team One in Alabama.

Same here when our unit started its usual bs after so long. We usually just replace them without the 10 year warranty added on and would get them installed for around $3300. Not they’re $9k with it without the warranty. Told them they could just fix this one then.

They said "dealer prep, doc, and something about all their used bikes get looked over". Not $1200 worth of shit.
I did. I emailed and called. It's the fact I shouldn't have to do all that leg work. Had the real price been listed, I wouldn't have wasted time. I know that bike only books for $6600ish....not $7500ish.

Dealers are just screwing people for anything they manage to get on the lot now. If you order one it doesn’t get the markup. Not really any incentive other than screwing the customer now to have inventory. Why you don’t see much inventory cause people are smart enough to order instead of letting the dealer screw them.

The price isn't my issue......it's the hidden fees. Their fees put that bike way over the book value.

Did you go metal mag release for the Shield Arms or a plastic one for the factory mags?

The metal mag release will chew up the factory mags. Plastic release for factory mags, steel mag release for steel mags.
